Can I buy out of the 150k. I know its late, but I'm having computer problems-running like **** too-would just rather buy out if possible then play the hands.

My view is that it's too late to buy out with just two days left. (I also don't think anyone should be allowed to buy-out anyway, for virtually any reason, as it's defeats the object of a motivational prop.) Besides PTR has you at having played just 85k hands for the month, so unless you're Chicago Joey then it's probably an impossible task anyway.

disagree that no one should be allowed to buy out. examples are it's the 15th, and player in 150k pool has 75k hands, but wants to go on a trip or just relax for a while (big upswing perhaps) buying out for 1/2 the amount should be fine. also, if something happens beyond just not being able to make it.. ie, death in the family, computer breaks, etc, buying out is reasonable.
certainly not with 2 days and 65k hands to go though

I did intentionally say virtually and not literally, to account for certain situations.
And obviously, if someone wants to buy out half-way through the month, and all other parties agree, then I wouldn't object. The only problem is that it could lead to gray areas, which is why I'd choose to keep it simple. But no big deal.
