This is just regarding to your point about being happy to play them not the reason why people hate them with a passion.

They are hated because they make the table play tighter/more dull and more importantly, they rathole and hitnrun all day every day.

Sorry to overstep you power ponty but I think we can discuss this since every shortstacker is scum by default

Some grimmers/fake table starters are:
daniferdoser
uwbabe
spaint9
wuppentaller
krasav4ik
ojleg333
nayita88
tilt_avenue
jonyctt
miss maitai
nutpopper
dumbo2000
arhangel_29r
zartrüssel
mciaren f1
joaquin41
vanilica
grass 318
shevliak
elmusmolamas
kaindead
demidova
nachoace
fodevich
socrater
xuxisanchez

Generally the only reason to try and start a table vs a pro shortstacker is to get proof of them grimming you and send that to stars.

To the guys arguing that fake table starting isnt even a problem, it's just another reason why the waitlists go 20 people deep. People who might want to start a table arent always in the mood to go through the list of 20 people sitting alone and hope to find someone who wont grim them.

what's point of "fake table starting" anymore? you maybe get 4-5 hands heads up with a fish before the table fills up. personally i'd rather jesus seat than start a table nowadays, but thats just me i guess.

i dont agree with the fact that anyone can just write down a name of reg he hates without any proof.
u can give ppl realy bad name with no proven reason.
imo we should demend a screenshot or hh.

Its probably to secure a table with a fish without having to hawk the lobby. Its for people who are too lazy to even bumhunt correctly.

I just wanted to say I'm a big fan of this thread. It definitely serves a purpose, and hopefully everyone uses it correctly. Way too much scummy behavior in the games now and people need to be called out for it

Re: *** The Scum Reg Guide ***

whats scummy and whats imperfect etiquette ?

i sat down at a table where a lone fish was sitting out, i tried to start this table and get the fish involded in play. xdesulxtoryx joins me and we play some hands HU, he is winning, fish doesnt react. xhotxwussyx joins, plays 3 hands, wins 2 of them and leaves the table..
when i complained to xdesulxtoryx about this he said '' and left as well.

what they did didnt create an unfair advantage like starting tables and not paying blinds would but joining a table to win a couple of hands and then leave is pretty scummy as well isnt it?

SexyAngeline: FG AA
SexyAngeline: maybe wanna play 1x1 with me?
Dealer: m3nix, it's your turn. You have 8 seconds to act
FG AA: lol you so strong

This.^^^^

They are essentially angling, and exploiting a loop hole that allows them to rathole.

Though I would like to add that I have no problem with guys who buy in short and then actually play, only players who buy in short, wait to double up, then instantly sit out and move to the next table, while simultaneously setting a timer, so they know the exact second they can come back to your table and do it all over again.

These guys are all pure scum.

Maybe I don't understand what you mean happened but I don't see how this is unethical. Hit and running is not scummy, what are you live pros? People are allowed to play short sessions and leave whenever they want regardless of how much they won/lost. Hit and running does not gain any edge at all. To be scummy something should have to create an unfair edge or else hurt the games. Grimming takes an unfair edge. Snap sitting out hurts the games (and small edge). Hit and running does neither of these things. To post about hit and running in this thread is to totally invalidate the entire thread. Can people please keep it to regs who are known to bend/break the rules to gain an unfair edge rather than conform to how people think others should play? Hit and running is just as unethical as 3-betting light.

Re: *** The Scum Reg Guide ***

i have to disagree with you zach, i honestly think HNR is scummy behaviour (and not at all comparable with 3betting light) and if more and more players would HNR it would be bad for the health of the games..

i do get the point of not outing HNR players in this thread because its ment for more serious scumbags..
however, i cant change my last posts and their names, if a mod wants to do this that'll be splendid
