Hero image is bluff heavy

Medium stacks @ 1/2 ie around 150 each in front of us

Hero bets 15, four callers
Flop: 7♥️8♦️3♣️

Hero bet 50 into 60 pot

Action folds to button who raises to 100

Hero takes time to think, possibly puts opponent on 7/8 but figures to be good and shoves
Button calls

Turn/river 3♣️5♣️

Button shows 8♠️8♣️for full house

Misplayed? Or meant to go broke here.

Truthfully I am new to the game and I have had 4 straight losing sessions, with not nearly the upswing I had in games about 2-3 weeks ago. I was on tilt here and did not want to accept he had anything better than a big draw or ace,8.

Given that we need to be good 27% of the time against a "heavy bluffer", it doesn't matter. Even if he showed us 87 for top two pair, we'd have to call.

There's nothing wrong with the play. No oppenent is going to get rich set-mining 10% of their stack. If you know some particularly tight players have called pre then you can still get away with a [smaller] bet/fold. $30 is all you need to set up a turn pot-size shove, and given how dry it is $20/25 might be a better sizing (but I'd bow down to experienced live players if they had different advice.)
