Ok captain sarcasm. When given the answers to your question, you chose to ignore them. You've been a member here for 7 years... If you don't already understand the simple difference between online and live, and why such comparisons are semi futile, then you are not going to learn it now. You are certainly not going to learn it while ignoring people that answered your question..

The answer to your first question is many fold. You can have a higher bb/100 playing 5/10 live than online, that is for sure. However you play less than 1/25th the number of hands in the same time frame. People winning at 10bb/100 at 1knl live are not making anywhere near as much money as someone multi tabling 1knl online (say 12 tables) and winning at 1bb/100. It is a simple case of hourly as tim stone said. On top of that, there is also the convenience factor of online, I can play the hours i want online, I don't have to play degen hours just to be able to get into the game i want.

Ok I get that u can play more online. U are missing the question. So here it is again

I know u make more bb/100 hands live, I know u play more hands per hour online...........so why do most people win more money live playing less hads overall, not per hour. I can play 10% of the hands live that I play online and win more money.....why is this?

My first thought is; if you win any money at all playing live then just how stupid must the other players be?

10-29-2014 , 11:26 AM
As long as it's a live game because they're easier.

sure live or online. up to u. I assume if u aer loser u will have a better chance online tho. online games are more even. this could bea good experiment tho. let play like 100 live hu matches and 100 online and compare results. u up for that??
10-29-2014 , 11:55 AM
this is like a whole new level of stupidity
10-29-2014 , 12:01 PM
Lol 100 live hu matches. You got a thousand years?
10-29-2014 , 12:21 PM
100 heads up sit n gos will take 1000 years? Wow.

I bet we start wih 1500 chips, increase blind every 15 minutes we can play 10-15 a day. Been done in like 7-10 days. But if that takes too long we can play less, of course then u will shout out sample size is too small

Ok so let's take the money out of it. How come 3-5 bb/100 hands is crushing online but winners can win 10-15bb/100 live and that is good? Why can't a winner win 10-15 online. Forget how many hands are played. Let's just look at win rate.

It's simple. There's more good players per table online. Usually 1 fun player and the rest are pros. Live there's normally only a couple good players, several fun players, and several mediocre players. So there are more losing players live per table, so the winners earn a larger winrate per hand.

Some people, pros even, won't play No-Limit. They can't handle the swings. But there are others, like Doyle Brunson, who consider No-Limit the only pure game left.

I would agree with U there, with one exception. There is no way there are more pros at the limits I play online. If it was 2-4 and higher I agree but not at limits smaller then 1-2. Just no way. Most are still rec players who are clueless.

Deal.

I've just finished my first session of 10 live HU matches. Here are the results so far:

Games I won: 10
Games my mum won: 0

Once she's made dinner we're going to get another 10 in.

So the common answer is there are more people who are pros online? I guess if this is true that would account for it, I just have trouble believing thy people who buy into 3-4 tables for $50 are pros. This is the common buy in I see at the games I play.
