I don't know much about stats jon but the 3-6 is signifigantly tougher than the 2-4 and even more so than the 1-2. If anything I would suggest tightening up especially if u are mass tabling. Ur 200 and 400 stats look really good tho

You can call preflop sometimes too you know

Seems fairly solid, but a little on the tight side IMO. ATS also looks a little low to me.

If you click on your image that you posted, on that page is a "direct link" address.

And as Baja15 said, your ATS is too low.
Also maybe too high of an aggression factor? You may be blowing people out of pots where you could win a little more by slowing it down a little.

They don't tell the whole luck story, but yeah - the equity when all in is definitely reliable. You is runnin bad with all ins. Having an "impressive" graph though, where you run around average with all- in's though, can easily be the result of a lot of sweet set-ups and the many other things related to luck.

Re: **** Official Stats and Graphs Analysis thread ****

Ive been using it to come up with better lines according to the ev of situations ive been playing poorly. I hardly doubt its a leak to evaluate my game.

the way i play, i either get it all in as hug fav, huge dog, or 50/50 and a majority of my winning are non-all-in spots. Considering my style im greatly concerned with the accuracy of this program assuming im about 50bi down in the last 2 months.... (50bi ~> my roll) My confidence in my game has taken a big hit recently, and it would be nice to know if I should be revamping my entire game or if I can focus on smaller things..

I really dont see how asking these questions are leaks...

Coordi...I thought I was the only one on here that doubted the validity of the pokerev graph, I'm glad to see you are in the same dingy as me. I'm down over 35BI's in all in equity over the past 2 months also. I am beginning to think that it is a product of my style (and your's also) rather than actually running poorly (although I know I am running very very poorly). That said, I do not know what is the difference in my style that causes these large discrepancies.

Please crush my spirit! Hi. This is at NL 100 FTP and Pstars. I think there are a lot of things I can improve on, namely blind play and aggression. Also, I believe I should be showing down more often, and showing down, which is true, but at the same time I feel at my level I am very good at value betting light against the fishes.
Overall I think my stats are OK, but since I can’t seem to beat NL 200, I’ll keep improving my game.

Also, it looks like my win rate really sucks. This is bb/100 and my BB/100 is 2.58. I looked at some other graphs, and some people are at 5 BB/100??? That seems really good. I guess that brings me to my other question, when speaking about ptbb/100, which value are people referring to?

Re: **** Official Stats and Graphs Analysis thread ****

first and intro: i'm a student and this summer i'm testing out the waters to see how i can do playing poker full time.

so far the 10k hands' stats should mean something:
someone please tell me if i'm playing too nitty or what

the following stats are for 50NL and 11,339 hands

VPIP 12.21
PFR 8.78
3bet 3.34
PF AF 2.3
Flop AF 5.76
Turn AF 3.06
River AF 2.55
Total AF 4.08

1.2 bb/100
net profit 135.95
rake 269.55 WTF MATE

oh yeah... i did this anywhere from 4 to 14 tabling on avg 5 tabling...

any pointers on what any of this might indicate will be helpful.

catch - your stats look pretty reasonable, could stand to raise a little more often. profit and bb/100 utterly meaningless after 11k hands.

yeah i've definitely been playing pretty nitty.

i *THINK* i have a way to improve on this but not sure if this is the right remedy.

i think i should call more in late position and try to get value from hands post flop in position...

i think i should also raise more from the last 3 positions to steal... instead of raising 4x from late position, i'll just raise 3x instead if my hand is mediocre... basically i'm inviting people to 3 bet me if they have something spectacular so i can cut the wank right there. i figure anyone with a real hand is going to 3 bet whether i raise 3x or 4x being the first one in the pot in late position.

...............
so far i think my problem is multitabling and trying to exploit some sort of edge from preflop play instead of getting seriously paid when people mess up post flop....

not sure if this counts for much but on donkeytest.com my highest scores were 137 129 and 127 for logic, flop texture and betting patterns :O...

i've been trying too hard to win the preflop game when clearly i can make better decisions than most post flop????

Re: **** Official Stats and Graphs Analysis thread ****

Burton and coordi (and whoever else): Here's what I think about your awful downswings. Obv I believe the EV graphs. But "losing" x buy-ins in EV isn't always indicative of a worse overall run than losing, say x+1 buy-ins. Your style of play will affect this.
Someone who is very prone to get to showdowns (ie: They check- call often on the river as a bluff- catcher, check back some hands where they assume they won't get called by worse, etc) ... their luck will "even out" more quickly according to poker EV. Basically, because they have a bigger sample and every hand where like they flop a set and bet twice into a draw and then check hoping to induce... that'll get to showdown sometimes and will earn you EV points. for them having missed. Likewise, if you don't pay off a small bet when you know they've hit, you will just lose non - sd winnings, whereas, if you pay it off, it will register as having lost EV.

Basically, there are aspects of people's games that exacerbate some of their runs. Personally, I've never had an EV graph with that big of a difference, and I think it has something to do with me checking to induce (even IF you induce, they still missed their draw, and you gained EV), but that part of your "luck" never shows up if you blow your opponent out of the pot.

Any way you slice it though, you're running bad. Don't read too much into theses graphs though as there are many ways to play the game, so opponent - dependent, that can severely alter the extremes.

it looks like you can tighten up a bit because the variance b/w your VP and your raise is a little high. very aggressive numbers though.

i like the W$WSF

Re: **** Official Stats and Graphs Analysis thread ****

Hello all,

I started this thread time ago, and I think that I did many improvements in my game. I tell again thank you to anyone for any tips.

Now, please, may someone tell what's wrong with my new stats ?
It's still NL100 on stars and I'm still doing really bad.

Thanks
SJ
