I was obviously joking with pisco, I play as much as almost anyone. I was being sincere in my advice to him, and he got all pissy, so I told him he needs to not get so mad and realize I am usually messing with him and then I blatantly messed with him to screw around, thinking it was pretty obvious what I was doing.

I told pisco the true advice because of his style. I'm not going to be a loser vs his 6/3 style, but I won't be a big winner, so losing him won't really hurt or help me, so I was trying to help him out. It is pretty obvious he should not be playing above 400nl with that style and I was trying to be helpful.

Disclaimer: This is not aimed at anyone in particular, it just popped into my head, but:

I sometimes feel like this forum is full of people who were made fun of in school or some ****. Many don't have a sense of humor, and just get all pissy when someone makes a joke. I mean you guys can joke around on me, it's ok, that is the spirit of things. It just feels like sometimes everyone seems so damn anti-social that they can't take or dish out any jokes we all have to be serious and talk about how much we hate people who make fun of us and how we wish the new world of warcraft would come out or w/e, just let ur damn guard down and take and dish out some jokes ppl pppeeeeaaccceee ouuutttttt hommmeeeyyyssss

I don't know his winrate but I doubt it. I will post my monthly graph this month which will once and for all prove I am just a breakeven player grinding for my FPPs

this reminds of when people used to 5hit on me for messing around on here...... nm, they still do!!!! its a friggin forum people. we come here when we arent trying to win money playing poker! cept for those who keep losing and come here looking for help. some people offer advice and some people just do it in a manner where some are offended. its typical for everyone to not get along, so what. why do people get butt hurt over the internet? most of us here are decently smart enough to play poker well so im sure we can somehow use that intelligence to understand what all of us are trying to say. most of us here are men and we have egos obviously, but that comes with poker which is a form of competition and without ego there is no drive. just ranting on, w/e, but i think schwallie was just trying to help and shouldnt get crapped on.

While I agree with you for the most part I think Schwallie is bordering on abusive here when it comes to Pisco and definitely deserves some kind of action, even if its just a warning. I mean seriously, the guy can barely understand what we're saying, struggles using a translator just to respond and continues to get ripped on relentlessly when he really doesn't deserve it at all. He's run up from being a SSNL player to playing mid stakes games and continues to take shots. He puts in a ton of hands and has a good work ethic. Regardless of whether you like his style or not or you think he's the luckiest player on earth, it doesn't give anyone the right to pick on the poor guy the way he has been in this thread. He may run hotter than the sun but it doesn't give you the green light to rip the guy to shreds, especially when he can barely defend himself.

That's why I'm going to ask you all nicely to please stop being abusive toward someone that can't defend them self. II'm tired of reading this crap in a thread that's supposed to be useful and has turned into nothing but a e-peen measuring contest. You're really making a case as to why the 400NL players should have their own forum, and it has nothing to do with you guys showing that it's needed or deserved.

As recently as the early 80's it was still considered the height of TV wit for comedians to black their faces, put on a false pair of big thick lips and pretend to be stupid.
