I might take up golf again and practise for next years trip.

I'm guessing you need handicap certificates for these balla courses?

definitely not, these resorts get plenty of 20+ hc hackers

Saw this thread and just thought I'd say that Kiawah is NOT an easy course and the shoreline winds can be a pain. It's also really pricey for what you get. I'm a 6 hc fwiw.

Bandon looks amazing though. Just played the South Course at Firestone which was $200+. It was nice and all but not worth it to go back IMO.

this statement is heresy in malice's eyes. pretty sure he's going to have his wedding, kids birthings, and burials take place at bandon dunes.

That's a great deal relative to what I paid and would snap book. All I'm saying is that if you're there for the golfing experience they didn't rate it "America's Toughest Resort Course" for nothing.
