I'm starting to think it's -EV to get AK AIPF at 100-200 'cuz they always seem to have KK+ when I stick it in.

Without the read of a donk or some history with a player or really obvious situation (ie raise button, sb calls, aggro bb squeezes) I think it's pretty -ev. Most players aren't even felting QQ preflop .

I'm talking about 15/11's in the blinds who 3bet my open-raises from the CO. Even then, they seem to have KK+ all the friggin' time.

I felt them and don't feel bad about any result. Taking flops IP isn't the worst solution either.

Re: The official beats, brag ,variance thread for 100-200nl

OK, back to square 1 as far as August is concerned, down 4.5 buy-ins in 1,100 hands.

When my AA was cracked by KK preflop all-in, I knew it wasn't going to be my day. Got into a raising war preflop and thought yep, feel a suckout coming and I'm a gonna be the suckee. Either AA who's going to freeroll me or QQ-KK that is going to hit the set.

I got dealt AA 8 times, AK 12x, AQ 9x, KK 11x, QQ 8x etc so it wasn't like I was card dead...even got set 12.2%.

Re: The official beats, brag ,variance thread for 100-200nl

Has anyone here ever had a beat that tilted you for months or years when you thought about it? I had one on Party Poker 10/20 Stud Hi Lo about 5 years ago when this maniac at the table caught perfect/perfect/perfect to make 4 of a kind with 3333 and beat my 5th street 444TT. The betting was capped on every street, just like ever single hand this guy had played at the table.

I had another one last night when this drooling tard insanen.a.me caught perfect perfect on 4th and 5th for an inside straight in a 3bet pot for 250bb's Yay variance.

Never I tend to know when i have tilted and shut it down. Forgotten by next session. Funny thing is many times I look at the way the guy played the hand and many times I woulda played same way. Now the really bad ones are gone by the next day. When you play 2000 hands a day you forget them quickly except those two Royals i had a couple days ago
