Pretty much everyone in queensland wants to live in this area so dont expect it to be cheap. We pay 1200 a week for a 6bedroom apartment but that is overpriced.

That's very cool! The Gold Coast is a real growth hot spot, the property market is booming, as is the case in many parts of Australia. What's the reason behind the move and why only four months? I'm betting you aren't going to leave at the end of it Don't forget your sunscreen!

Hey guys,

My name is Alistair and had the poker bug for about 6 years. I am a very lazy semi pro atm and probably log 50k hands a month. Played a lot of limits and things are really only beginning to really click. I have had stints at PLO, LHE up to $30/60 (as the sucker at the table), HULHE, NLHU, shorthanded propping LHE oh and 250k tourney and sng hands. I will try to play anything as long as its fun and a challenge.

I play 8 tables of 100NL on Stars atm and will probably start playing some HU again because I probably play better with less tables and its fun.

yep no taxes in aus, unless you actually list your occupation as professional gambler (or something like that anyway).

In general all gambling winnings in australia are not taxed.

I play on titan and everest - mainly Fr - 20k hands per week - at 1/2 and 50c/1.
I get fairly good monthly bonuses (200 and 275)

FT and Pokerstars sometimes but they dont have the quality french and italian fish of the other sites.
