G'day,
Thought it would be sweet to start an official Aussie full-ring players thread, there are a few of us around. Let's face it we are in a completely weirdo timezone and are able to play at a lot of sites the US aren't. I'll start by introducing myself... I'm Andy, I play most on PokerStars as EurekaKid at 100nl and 200nl. I live in Melbourne, don't play at Crown all that often though, much prefer online.

I would be interested to hear from others who play on Stars or play elsewhere. if you do play elsewhere I'd love to know what kind of vip/bonuses you are getting, how many tables you are able to play and and what time of day you play.

Heads up for anyone who hasn't logged into Stars last two days and had their screen taken over by a massive pop up. They are having a Sunday Million Satt with 5 seats added for Aussies only, to celebrate the first Australian to win it. It's on Sunday night at a decent hour.

As a side note, is there any other Supernova's a bit disenchanted that all the VIP tourneys are while we are fast asleep?

Yep. I'm in Auckland, recently moved from Wellington. I play on FTP NL50 and NL100.

I'm planning on moving to Australia for four months (September - December). Probably the Gold Coast. Anyone know about real estate in the area (costs, leases, etc.)? If anyone has any information please PM me, I'd seriously appreciate it.
