I don't mind posting mine here.

Made just under $15k in rakeback and won a few ks playing on other sites as well.

All in all it came to a about $68k for the year which I am not unhappy about. Yea the days of being about to make $200k/year at small stakes are over, but the year I turned 22 I made a good chunk more than the average Brit, and I don't have to pay any tax, commute or deal with some arsehole boss telling me what to do all the time.

Would bet money on myself making 70K+ this year fwiw.

Doubt there will be a single player who plays more than 250k reg table hands in one month on stars this year/ever again.

Can someone elaborate what happened with mayo and smb at stars? At the time I was too busy trying to figure out how to beat NL10-25.

Zoom still very beatable so I doubt these changes would make reg tables much less profitable than they are now

Unfortunately this is going to make games a lot worse. You will see a lot of higher stakes regs moving down for 1 thing. These changes are awful for you as a player, the only people that benefit are stars and players like OTB, no one else, and you're kidding yourself if you think differently.

Also these changes subsequently combined with the expected RB cull will make things even worse.

Here's how I view it (assuming australia isn't already banned by then) I will be very surprised if i could last more than 12-18 months in these games. Increasing regulation, increased difficulty and devaluation of earning potential outside of poker (we're not all going to be doing online poker for the next 30 years, so you will likely need another job at some point) means that the cut off point (for when to bail) if ever accelerating.

I personally hope i can make it last 18 months, and there are levels of existence i'm willing to accept (insert architect picture from the matrix here) but the outlook is terrible and this is another nail regardless of how good anyone in this thread thinks they are.

edit, should clarify that last comment was not directed at you hurtncyde (since i realise it may look like that)

a second point to that, the games on stars are also going to be way way worse if just Australia pulls out of the market, let alone if any other countries do in future..

Very beatable is cool. But given that I have a living to make Id be more comfortable playing in crushable games.

The reality is if you look at regs results you can see a clear trend that winrates are bigger for reg regs than zoom regs. Its like that for most regs(crusher, average reg or regfish) that makes sense because in zoom you play like 2/3 of orbits without a decent looserate fish

I didnt play at ftp and didnt follow how it went. How does it work exaclty in game ? Like what happens when a 100nl table and its absurd rake is filled with regs only ? What happens if it breaks ? You cant join another game ?
