Haha, I haven't even been lurking on here either, I've pretty much had to quit poker entirely due to other stuff getting in the way, but I'm still going to hang around for the second boom that will eventually come.

I've played a bit recently and the game quality has been ok compared to 2014 and 2015. You sometimes get two fish on a table at the moment, and that is post-January strike too.

Anyways my lovely fellow nl100 grinders, i thought about my previous post, and i`ve came up with this:

For all you fake HU players, i will be playing my BTN/SB on each and every breaking table, and then instantly sit out EVERY SINGLE TIME. I will not stick around for `reg battle` on breaking tables (when its about to break or broke) at all now. Play BTN, leave. So that`s a tiny warning here for guys who stay for HU (i think its fair since its what 98.5% of population does to me). I`m tired of these fake battles and griming (my BB/SB spread HU is around 62/38 in past few months which is lol, this costs me around 10-50$ each session that i play).

I`ll be starting tables, so u can always sit me at the solo fresh table if u want action, but i will be reporting people who sit and grim very very very hard, and i will change my breaking tables manners from this point on (being nice doesnt work anymore, so i guess i have to adjust, i do have to say that most tards are from PSU and Argentinians).

Seems a good few of the Spanish relocated to UK regs went home for Christmas and aren't coming back. Maybe a bit too early to tell how many yet but here's hoping it's a lot.

Trying to justify the moral side of poker to someone atm. Obviously, we take lots of money off degenerate gamblers and don't pay taxes. My justification was that I give some money to charity, and if I didn't play, my replacement most likely wouldn't (very weak I know). I also said that most other professions cause misery in some way or another.
Interested if anyone else has anything they could add to the cause, or do we just have to accept we are scumbags?

There's nothing wrong with gambling, just like there is nothing wrong with enjoying alcohol. The extremities of both are awful but both are also enjoyed by about 90% of the population responsibly. You can't really account for the other 10% just like you wouldn't tell your friends to stop drinking due to the x% of people who are alcoholics. Should pubs be forced shut? of course not.

In regards to the tax debate, this is also a pretty petty argument. reducing your tax burden is something that is practised by almost everyone. The fact that you have a job where your tax burden is zero is not your fault. Most people who moan about this are bitter that they pay tax while you don't but they are also mostly hypocrites who (again) try limit their tax in other ways and would 100% accept tax free income.

So yeah, don't feel bad or maligned. It's just what it is, you can still contribute to society in other ways, and in fairness, bringing $$'s into the country probably has a much more positive effect on the economy than just the circulation/redistribution of tax that whatever ****muncher you're arguing with does.

I think I've said this before but the reality is that the vast majority of people who make a lot of money do it in someway or another through the exploitation of others. Life is every man for himself. You can either accept the dark truth and try and make something of yourself or refuse and work at Pizza Hut for the rest of your life. The choice is yours.

Also I would add that it's our responsibility as westerners to play and try and stop poker being completely taken over/destroyed by Eastern Europe.
