On the pokerstars lobby it says "The higher your VIP level, the bigger the VPP bonus". Are there different codes for different VIP levels or is the code "jumpstart" regardless of our VPP level? Someone please explain, thanx. Happy New Year!

Thank you for your email regarding the January Jumpstart promotion.

In order to jumpstart your January and receive the additional VPPs according to your VIP status, you need to enter the Star Code ‘JUMPSTART’ in the client before 23:59 ET on 8th January.

We also have a TIP for you: If you think you will reach a higher VIP level by 8th January (the last opt-in date), wait until this date to opt-in and maximise your VPP boost.

Here is the VPP boost you can receive, depending on your VIP level at the time of opting in:

BronzeStar: 15 VPPs
ChromeStar: 25 VPPs
SilverStar: 125 VPPs
GoldStar: 625 VPPs
PlatinumStar & higher: 1,000 VPPs

Please follow this instructions to take part in the promotion depending on the device you are using:

Using Star Codes on Desktop:
Log-in to the PokerStars client and choose ‘Account’ from the top drop-down menu. Next, select ‘Enter Star Code’ and input Star Code ‘JUMPSTART’ to opt in.

The Star Code will be processed immediately (or shortly if the system is particularly busy) and you will receive your January Jumpstart VPP boost.

Please note that only monthly and yearly VPPs will be credited with January Jumpstart. No FPPs will be awarded.

lame promo for regs in terms of vpps, but not the worst idea overall for the games i guess.. more incentive for recreational players to push for goldstar or w/e.. expecting a 3.50% gain in game quality

need to be a genius to figure out how to opt in tho, they failed on that one

I average around 1.5 vpps as a recreational player, Dont think 125 extra VPP is gonna be much help or give added incentive to reach gold star.

Kinda meh bonus.

I usually grind up to 210 FPP and then play 6/20 Sunday Storm satellite, then unregister and play 4x3.5 SNG. Works out well, and 125 fpps are going to be a fast track for one round.
