Re: ***The Official 2012 ZOOOOM Regulars thread***

Any HM1 users having problems with your ZOOM HUD?

After downloading various patches and pinging messages back n forth with support, changing setting after setting I am still unable to fix my issue.

The issue is that my HUD continues to show the data from the previous hand so the live stats that I have during any given hand are meaningless.

Anyone else had this problem and know a fix?

My PC can't handle HEM2 so I wont be upgrading yet

@Rosh, don't know if your problem is new but I started having that problem only after the Stars update last weekend. For me the fix was pretty easy, from here:

http://forums.holdemmanager.com/hud-...ml#post1217821

In particular note the second part (i missed this at first) where you have to place a new Blitz.dll file in your HEM folder.

So....when can the US join the EU? We'll help stabilize the Euro, and Americans would be back playing poker. As much as I love it, my country is sometimes very dumb.

Side note, any videos out there showing zoom being played? I'm interested in how it looks and how the game flows compared to Rush. Doesn't have to be a coaching vid, just something like 10-15m showing someone playing at whatever stakes.

Re: ***The Official 2012 ZOOOOM Regulars thread***

I'd like to get 1/2 running regularly. If each of us that is interested just pledges to put one entry in it each time we're playing a session, we shouldn't have any problem getting it off the ground each day. And once it's running daily we should start to see some people migrating from the regular games until it reaches a healthy size. There were 300 people at .50/1 Zoom today and about 30ish regular 1/2 games running so there have to be enough people to make it work. We just need to make a group effort to change the status quo so that people actually play it each day.

I haven't read too much of this thread so I apologize if I'm beating a dead horse or something.

Several of us have been trying to get the games started. Read my posts in this thread and join the Zoom 200 Skype group to help.

Re: ***The Official 2012 ZOOOOM Regulars thread***

I had a conversation with Pokerstars Caleb earlier about the state of the FR ZOOM games at 200 & 500.

We discussed several ideas that could help to get the games started and to expose a greater number of potential players to the games. Caleb is not in a position to promise anything but it's encouraging that he has taken an interest in our game-starting efforts.

In addition, the introduction of short-handed play is still planned although it may be a while until this is implemented. This in itself would be a MASSIVE help to getting the games started of course.
