Buy SSD or two of them instead for performance increasing.

After defragmenting HD will fragment anyway very fast.

+1 on SSD.
even if big ones are pretty expensive - it's the best investment you can make to speed up your computer. you will notice a much bigger improvement than with upgrading the CPU.
everything feels MUCH snappier and HM becomes really fast.

Appreciate the advice, but just wanted a little bit of improvement and to clean up my cluttered comp a bit. I have pretty much no need for an SSD right now as I don't use my computer for much other than poker.
