i 100 percent disagree with you. just because you haven't seen any direct consequences of sitting out, that doesn't mean that they don't exist (think about someone smoking and saying they're still fine, or hurting the actual environment and saying its too vast to affect).

i think games are fine too, but if you think about the cost of insta sitting out and insta sitting in when fish busts (probably about 25 cents in EV to play that extra orbit), it's just not worth it. you make a ton of game selection decisions that net you like 10, 50, 100 dollars in EV, but something like this is so slightly -EV (if -EV at all), that it just seems ridiculous. you probably lose more money timing out in a session, misreading someone's stats, or one tilt/spew call a week. also, if he sits out and sits back in and posts, then you get fewer hands with him if you have to wait for the BB.

ok, to clearify here...

there are games at 400 and especially 600 where i snapsnit out when fish does bc i know i'm not +EV there anymoar. at 200 i'm not that cautious for the most part. the screenshot ment posted for example was with a fish who has the tendency not to come back at all most of the time so i sit out and see if he comes back. in general most of this sitting out happens at 6max anyways. i don't really have a prob to play another FR orbit but at 6max there are just some tables i don't want to play without the fish around.

this is obv only my opinion and i'm pretty much alone with it as i can see but so be it...

if you want things to change encourage stars to change something and then me and many others who do the same have to adept. as long as it is within the rules me and other people will continue to "abuse" tis... same for 40BB stacks, grimming and so on...

zoom solves a lot of these problems, but making fish tighter, and not being able to get reads on weaker opponents based on game flow (much more pertinent than vs regs) probably make the cure worse than the disease
