I know people beat it higher, I see double and triple my winrate on ptr over 100k+

Who here doesn't think I can beat merge 100nl for 1bb/100? Gold? Ponty? Conquistidor? Anyone?

but to humour you and answer your question, i would have no idea. You say you play a few hours a week and there are like 6 tables that run on merge at 100nl on average? so to get any decent sample size is gonna take... if you average 6 tables when playing, 70 hands/hr and still playing a few hours a week (for this example i've used 4)... will take you 5 and a half years for you to play 500k sample.

So as i say I don't know, come back with a 500k sample at 100nl on merge and prove me wrong (i'm not even sure a 500k sample is even big enough but what do i know).

secondly... you say you will coach people up to 200nl (albeit you mention in exceptional circumstances), why to god do you think trying to prove you can beat 100nl at 1bb/100 when 6 tabling is anything put a huge negative advertisement for yourself?

I have not been part of this original argument at all but just wanna say, how is 1bb/100 at 100NL even an accomplishment?? I get that its harder to beat b/c of the BBJ rake raping u for like 1ptbb+/100 but 1bb?? Anyone with half a brain could do this if they table selected really well and were only playing like 8 tables at a time.

I have done ok there on merge with ~1.7ptbb/100 winrate over both my PTRs and for awhile I was playing every single 100 game that ran while I was trying to build my roll so I could play higher.

If you really wanted to prove something I would say the minimum bb/100 u would have to attain would be 3bb/100 (1.5ptbb) to loosely say that you are crushing 100NL on merge.

@ponty, lots of times there are 18+ tables of 100NL FR running but I guess thats only once the BBJ gets high. Also, u could just add 6m tables when there weren't enough FR tables going. He does say he mostly plays 6m now after all.

I was told in my coaching thread that it would be surprising if I was bigger than a 1ptbb winner. I'd like to know how sure you are about that? Are you 95% sure, 85% sure?
