I thought I noticed this when the BBJ was approaching 300k....It was like 298k while I was playing then when I checked it later it was 280k, I wasn't sure though and figured I might have been hallucinating.

maybe they just estimate the rate of growth and let the BBJ counter scroll at that rate and then they do a manual adjustment once a day or something. although they would have to **** it up pretty bad to ever have to come down 20k
