under EV is so 2005 :|

one would think people know by now that HM has numerous EV calculation flaws that always put people under EV, but you prob know that and just need something to say because everything else works out for you

Certain situations that involve an all-in short stacker and a third player who folds on a later street.

E.g. In brief:

Short stacker (20BB) all-in pre and PlayerA and PlayerB also commit 20BB.

On the flop PlayerA bets and PlayerB folds, so showdown is between short stacker and PlayerA.

PlayerB's card are not known and so the short stacker's and PlayerA's EV calculation is skewed.

I think this is the only type of situation (but may be wrong) but these days these situations are rarer than they used to be, hence I'm not sure if there's much significance.
