if you call turn and river is a brick 4 and he checks are we checking behind or are we betting river so he folds AQ and some weak pairs? or do you just check since he have tons of SDV

Re: NL100 : common bvb situation

How is 21% steal from SB wide? I can only name a handful of villains at NL200 that steal less than that from the SB. Besides we do not have much more than 50% equity vs this stealing range. Even if we assume he barrels this flop 100% of the time we still have only ~40% of equity on this flop vs his entire range. Again if we assume he barrels his entire range on this turn we have ~34% equity. So struggling a bit to see how calling him down could be profitable.

it's insanely tight. it's still a call on the flop though, you have enough equity given pot odds and you have some bluffing potential.

Fair enough, I don't mind calling flop. It is just that this dude seems to barrel most turns he he bets flop and I really don't think we have the equity to call a turn bet too. So folding flop seems pretty tight, but somewhat more EV here imo

Re: NL100 : common bvb situation

naah Omaha the funny thing is that you believe we could get it in good sometimes if we raise and call off w/ AT high. what hands are villain like to spew off with? T8s? is 21% raise from the sb high? what games do you play? $0,25/0,50 Fold'em? anyway, that's terribly low and even the super-predictable nits have sth like 30-35% sb steal..

call flop and re-evaluate. i'd prob fold turn just because im a nit myself and people usually don't want to barrel me off an 88 type of hand on these boards repping Kx exclusively.
