my guess is:
poker not popular in china. no good chinese poker books, no serious poker sites such as 2+2, no video content in chinese.
not only the chinese regs play completely crazy, its same with their fishes (i guess they just play like a standard fish did in 2003 since their was no information about poker around aswell). i pray daily for the date where onlinepoker gets (completely) unbanned in china or atleast in one of their cantons lol

poker is very populair with the wealthy people in china and those are the one we want
and having a br to play low/midstakes is wealthy for chinese standards
