Maybe a mental coach is the answer. I cant be the only poker player ever to burn out.

I just said like the biggest compliment ever to a FR nit, if that aint being "chill" then I honestly have no idea what is

Tobe, i think your comment wasn't actually thought out at all. Fallen behind in the games? He made 50k table profits last year... that's as much as a lot of midstakes regs.

Bad wording. What Im trying to say is that if he'd want to significantly increase the income he'd need a ****load of time to reach the level of 1kNL guys. Smthin of that sort. Was just an idea anyway.

i will ship 2.99$ to every 2013 winning reg from nl100-nl400, who will never ever play a hand of poker anymore, just to make his decision aloooot easier :P

Would be nice to be that easy to win.

rki your volume is **** and you sound miserable. what do you do with the other 22 hours in your day? that might be something to consider. would doing anything semi productive for only 12 hours a week be fulfilling?

imo you have plenty of time and money to take some classes and pursue/explore other opportunities while you still play. most people would fall in to massive debt doing this and you have the opportunity explore and pursue whatever you want with very little sacrifice. go meet spikey mikey and spit roast some hookers, do something imo. it sounds like poker has given you the opportunity to be lazy, unproductive, uninspired, and youre then blaming it for making you miserable

vini and i were discussing balance last month. imo if you work too hard youre miserable and all you want to do is stop working and lie on a beach or whatever. if all you did was lie on a beach all day youd eventually be bored and unhappy. i have a feeling that playing 50k hands a month while pursuing nothing else thats productive or fulfilling is the problem. youtube, spankwire, tv, ps3, beer, darts, and skanks with bad teeth arent fulfilling to most people

i guess its possible that the other 22 hours of your day are pure bliss but if that were the case it doesnt seem likely youd be so concerned about the couple hours you click buttons and print money

Yeah, I am admittedly slow but if it were that easy, everyone would be doing it.

New incentive to put more volume in:

I'm liking these NJ sites.....

This gets deposited every Sunday night into account.

The only catch is you have to see a flop for your rake to qualify, which means there are lots of calling stations...

Oh and poker confirmed best 'job' ever. I like games
glad someone else has a bit of sense

i personally loved when people were doing that basement game thingy and were choosing to take 5 million into the basement (instead of the alternative 10 million at the end) so they could invest it because poker players are so smart, investing is easy money

Isnt seeing a flop when teh rake is dropped anyway? Whats the difference other than getting no credit for pots where you fold blinds or vpip=true but you fold pre?
02-18-2014 , 03:48 PM
I think he means seeing flop all the way so turn and river as well
02-18-2014 , 03:49 PM
Why do you think that?

let's see......3-bet fold to a 4-bet, fold to a squeeze just to name 2 examples.

No you really just have to see a flop. So there are even plenty of calling to a 3-bet then folding just to qualify.

my last $8600 in rake paid (stars/ftp), only $600 was without seeing a flop. not a big deal unless they rake w/ no flop, which wouldn't surprise me in good ole murrica.
