100NL game,
Opponent is a 24/10 with 4% 3-bet.

He limps in EP with $145 stack behind him, I have him covered
MP player limps
I limp in MP as well with K 7
Folds to BB who checks

Flop($4.25) Q 6 5
BB checks
EP checks
MP checks
I bet $2.12
BB folds
EP raises to $7.07
MP folds
I call

Turn($17.61) Q 6 5 A
EP bets $7
I call

River($30.83) Q 6 5 A 5
EP bets $30.83
Ughhh. Looks like 66, 55, A5s, and 65s so much.

I called turn, because I believe he will fire blank rivers and 4-to-a-flush often and also if he has a hand like a set and the river is a blank he will check/call an overbet all-in or even bet/call all-in. Also, it balances the times I turn Kx into a bluff.

If I raise turn and he has a set, he may end up calling, but folding a blank river, though I'm not entirely sure. Also, I lose less when he boats up.

River made me cringe. Then he bet a big pot sized bet. I'm like, ugh ****. What check/raises the flop, bets turn slightly small, and then pots the river that I beat? 87s? 74s? Some weird backdoor heart draw? Yuck. Yuck. YUCK.

With this line he's saying he has a boat, up to you to believe him or not.

"I lose less when he boats up" isn't my way of thinking but I guess that's just me.

at this stack depth I think 30bb call on the river nut flush vs boat is not a shallow loss... I went into this spot recently and i end up calling ...vs boat but 30bb river bet u def need to pay ppls off with ur flush
