definitely. you're OOP to two bad players. one has a 65bb stack. shorter the stacks become the more important it is to target dead money pre.

Could you ever find a fold here?

not a fan of folding the 3rd best hand in holdem pre, too much dead money

If it's AKo does it change anyone's opinion?

I think you can make a 4-bet to like $23 or somewhere around there. If shorty gets it in then you stack off no matter what, but if he folds and the CO pushes then you have to fold. I don't like cold calling. I think it sucks big time. I'd rather fold than cold call. No one has even 3-bet once at this table so it wouldn't shock me if this table is 3-betting more snug.

@woolly
Not sure how you came to the conclusion that CO is a bad player with only 28 hands and roughly solid stats.

@Markulous
I think I probably fold AKo.

the good news is that if CO has you beat postflop he's bad unless he has AxKc.

when CO flats MP1 (and I can't think of a hand that should other than set mining, slowplaying AA/KK would be beyond terrible play) you can argue a bomb reraise with the dead $, you won't be in bad shape against two underpairs to AK which is most likely MP+1's hand who btw, is literally never folding preflop and will snap do so on boards you hit and he didn't and snap won't on the reverse (which sucks for us). It really doesn't matter at all what CO would do (hopefully he doesn't have our hand) Normally I'm against gambling races in obvious spots on high rake sites, but pot is big enough if you wanted to.

I would just call CO's bet btw b/c you can give up if a club hits the turn and he fires, you're either up against it or a set he just tilt shoves or perhaps bluff off his AK. MP1 is gonna do whatever he's gonna do anyway.

I think 4b is the worst play, they might fold AQ but won't fold TT-QQ nor will they post if you missed and don't flop a flush so cbetting a miss is just torching more $ on fire. Better off with random cards if you're gonna do that I think.

** "have".. it should read,
"How would you HAVE played this hand?"
☆Not, "...would you OF played..."

4 bet pre. Initial raiser is a half stack and 3-bettor is pretty aggro and is likely iso'ing the fish.

I have little to offer this thread. But I do have a question....

Hero had a chance to 4bet and passed, opting to call. When MP1 4bets and LP calls, are we looking at a situation with such strong ranges that we can look at folding? We have forgone betting initiative and are OOP against two opponents who have announced very strong hands here. I'm not usually one for folding AKs pre, but does this come close?
