I can't remember the last time we had this discussion, so if anyone happens to have a good link or two on how much we should be playing from the blinds and what a reasonable loss rate there is, let me know.

I sort of feel that I'm in need of some work in this area.

Over 125K in my last DB.

I was losing -0.17 from the BB and -0.15 from the SB. Playing 10/6 from the BB and 18/10 from the SB.

I'm failry happy with the BB stats but I think i'm still spewing a bit from the SB though and probably need to brush up on the fundamentals too.

I really think I could be playing a lot more aggro from the bb in all aspects. I started trying some things but too early to tell if they are effective.

I think the benchmark for the blinds is losing less than -.35 BB/100. i.e. anything better than -.35BB/100 is goot.

I run -0.18 in the BB without trying to defend my blinds, give or take the odd light 3 BET.

What could a player who is good at defending his BB expect to run at over a large sample, -0.07 to -0.11?

We know what the blind stealer is doing and with what hands, so we should be able to fight back. Or is the blind stealer's position just too much of an advantage to over come?

iirc, i usually ran at about -.22 in the BB and -.12 in the SB.

In my new database, i am -.27bb and -.11 in the sb.

I was aalrmed by the bb number a few days ago, and it led me to discover this quirky fact--all 6 times this month i have had KK aipf against AA i was in the BB. lolz, variance is silly sometimes.
