Guys, I'm trying to do a table for something I'm working on to give a broad indication of general aggressiveness on both the Factor and Frequency scale. I've actually asked this a month or so back in the FTP regulars thread. However, I feel it's quite 'subjective' so I'd appreciate maximum input to try and really peg down which stat goes in which category of typical full ring players in the micro-to-midstakes levels. Here is my first stab at the table. I basically want a good idea of what an aggressive, very-aggressive, etc player would look like.
I
must stress that AF and AFreq are to be read independant of one another. What I mean by that is that someone with a 20% AFre and 4.0 AF is actually aggressive when they do play a hand despite being passive in the AFre scale. This is because they are a rock that waits for a big hand and then bets the hell out of it. They don't generally bluff much.
What I'm driving at is that you are not supposed to read the table and think, "ah so, only if AFre is 35%
and AF is 4.0+ is a player 'very aggressive'"
Instead, I simply intend that you read each column independent of the other. 4.0+ is aggressive on the AF scale regardless of where a player falls on the AFre scale. Understand?
Probably not....lol. Anyway, criticise my numbers please and help me tie down how to cateogorise.
