We have 11 Runners so far (team actually in the league)

About 8 want to play for cash so far, this wil giv us a $400 pot minimum

Please giv ur thoughts on the following points:

- I want to open the Buy-in Period to Fri 19th August to maximise the number of potential $$$ entrants. Non $$$ entrants can join at any time. This means cash shipped by this date (includin Joopjan).

This will however mean that 1 week of games will hav been played. I believe that any points advantage after 1 week will be insignificant. Alternatively we can close Buy-ins on Fri 12th Aug which is the day b4 it kicks off.

- wrt prize distibution (based on $400) I hav the following ideas

1. We split the prize 25:75 for Dec:May (after 19 & 38 games respectively)
2. The 25:75 is split into 1st place and 2nd place(@75:25) for both Dec & May Therefore giving 4 prizes as follows:

A $75 (1st at Dec)
B $25 (2nd at Dec)
C $225 (1st at May)
D $75 (2nd at May)

Alternatively we could have only a 1st place at Dec ($100) then 1st at May ($300)
Bear in mind we might have a lot more $$$ entrants if we set the cut off for the 19th. This would make the 4 prize option more viable

I'm happy with the payouts structure and extending the Deadline as we won't be the ones at a disadvantage anyway. Plus opening games of the season are always dull anyway!

i wish the ****ing season would start I literally change my team about 4 times a day!
One thing thats **** I think is the teams lock at 11.30 but starting line ups arent announced until like 2pm usually!

I know that feeling, i feel players like saurez and the likes are going to ship goals this season but not sure how managers are going to react to the south americans after such a long summer. Lotta tough decisions. Also regarding payment im taking a prolonged period off poker right now and have no money on stars so paypal would be ideal for me too.

i don't think you should allow the free players that have a team to suddenly decide they want in after week 1 if they did well (discuss)?, but people in my opinion can enter late with a new team (as they will be at a disadvantage with 0 pts)?

the escrow shouldn't have to pay any fees for transferring payouts (eg with paypal)

what happens if 2 players are tied on pts

in the unlikely event the premier league or the fantasy league gets cancelled for reasons out of our control, initial buyins are returned

in event of dispute state what happens


can't think of any others, think this covers pretty much every eventuality

2. You may Buy-In to this event to play for the prize pool or you can play for free in the same league alongside paid entrants. The Buy-in for this event is $50.

3. You may only enter ONE team, either paid or free. You may NOT enter one of each or two of any kind.

4. Paying Entry Players must state ITT who their Team and Team Manager is within the league prior to commencement. These alongside your 2+2 user name will form your entry. The list maitained ITT will form the final players list.

5. Please refrain from changing your team or manager name within the league once the league has started. If you need to do this then advise accordingly ITT.

6. The closing entry date for paying entries is Friday 19th August 2011 at 12:00 (midday) WET. Please note that this date will include 1 weeks worth of fixtures played.

In the event of any ties the tied prize will be split evenly between tied parties.

The prizes will be paid via Pokerstars Transfer or Paypal Transfer at the request of the winner(s)

9. In the unlikely event the premier league or the fantasy league gets cancelled for reasons out of our control, initial buyins are returned

10. If you forced to pull out of this event which is a possibility due to the length of the event you will forfeit your Buy-In and the pool will remain intact.

11. Any disputes will be disucssed between all the paying participants in this thread and a vote will decide the outcome.
