100NL Video -- playing aggressive from LP 100NL Video -- playing aggressive from LP

You can stream this at my blog or download it on viddler. I really focused on LP play and playing hands based on who is left to act. I think it was a succesful video. There is possibly a voice appearance by my roomate Peter (shocae on 2p2). I'm not sure if the microphone caught his voice, though. There is a little dead air at first, but I did my best to fill it in once I realized it was happening.

Enjoy

i'm running worse than anyone it's so unbelievable. any other one of you busto morons would have quit. i swear i run worse than this whole forum combined
just kidding. but i use 50/1 to fill in tables during dead times and when i moved over from 6m, i spent about a week at 50/1 to get used to it

also there's no way i'm making a video at 2/4+ for obv reasons

Last edited by PartysOver; 07-04-2008 at 01:54 AM. Reason: i dont want someone to figure out how a 14/11 nit plays

thx for the video. you seem to be right on with most of your hand ranges for the players.

Good video.

I couldn't hear very well, what program do you use to have the stats pop up while you play?
07-04-2008 , 04:38 AM
Very good video. I would have never suspected MicroBob was Etoi! the Maryland reference was well. Poker content was even better though. Thanks alot and plz to be doing more.

One thing I noticed Speedle.

I have him over a very few 78 hands at 14.10/11.54/2.33 - what'd you have him at?

Speedle is much more aggressive than that. The HUD program he was using was Holdem Manager which is teh nuts afaik.

yeah it's HEM it really is the nuts

i had speedle at like 17/14 over my smallish sample.

sorry about the audio, i dont really know how to use camtasia that well and have an awful time exporting it and making the videos in general.

I'm glad it was a good video, i'll definetly be making more. if you guys have other questions, let me know and i'll be glad to answer

Is it possible to multitable 16-20 tables FR with HEM?? Ive heard its quite laggy with 8+ tables...
07-04-2008 , 09:15 AM
i ussually play 18 tables (of 2/4-5/10, depending on where the soft games are... sometimes 50/1 at off peak) and experience no lag with hem.... i do tile though, when i tried cascading it was definetly noticeably laggier

i will probably be making another video in the next few days. any specific topics to focus on? any suggestions?

Since this one focused on playing in LP, how about focusing on playing out of the blinds or OOP?

I'd also be interested in focusing on c-bets and when to double-barrell.

Nice vid!

Could you go over some of the benefits that you see with opening a standard 3x rather than 4x.

In the next vid id be cool to see some spots where you are getting three bet from the blinds... to see what types of hands you are flatting/4 betting with.

Ive always wanted to make it so I could hit a button on my keyboard to fold. I have AHK and I use a couple scripts (auto reload, stars planner, ect.) but I have no idea how to set up the keyboard option. Could you explain how to do that??

Good job explaining your thought processes. Looking forward to the next vid.

Download the BetPot script and put this in the hotkeys document...
Up::
Fold(getid())
return

Change "Up" to whatever key you want to use for folding. I use the Up arrow LDO.

way to ruin the first five minutes of my next video haha

I believe if you use something liek F1, to prevent the help menus from popping up, you have to add ~ in front of F1. (this may be the other way around, i dont have time to google it and i dont remember exactly)

07-05-2008 , 09:09 PM

stars layout is hyper simple with a custom background. the background is a like 5x5 bmp that is solid gray

the hud layout is holdem manager and goes:
vpip/pfr/3b %
cb/f2cb/hands

edit------ ok i saw your pm,
it's holdem manager, re: the pop up on click, the hud just automatically does that (i think?)
to make the box smaller you have to change the font size under table options (i think?)
