Re: 100NL annoying spot, what to do

Fold to squeeze pre.
Calling here and playing oop is just too tough and we aren't deep enough to set mine. Even if in position it still seems like a bad spot only 100 bb deep. Only really getting squirrelly here if I have notes that he is squeeze happy and then it is shove pre.

Fold pre. We are not doing well enough against a 15/9's likely 3-betting range. Our price on a call is quite bad when we owe 8bb, and I can't see how 4-betting without any blockers vs. a nitty-ish villain will show a profit.

Re: 100NL annoying spot, what to do

Just came across this and wanted to ask something. In these spots the determining factor whether you call or not should be the initial limpers. If at least one of them calls the iso, then I call. Is that justifiable?

Re: 100NL annoying spot, what to do

I def dont mind calling here pf. Calling for set value is good. As Harrington says, if he has at least 23bbs to win, then calling for set value is ok. The squeezers stats are pretty solid at 15/9 and to me this is seems like a solid player here. I never reraise here preflop unless the squeezer is playing way more hands and perhaps has some crazy stats of like 40/25 also with a higher 3b squeeze %. As played, you gotta fold on the turn. There is really nothing you beat here except aks imo. aa ,kk, qq , jj , 99 and aq have you killed here. Also the turn added a str8 to the board and this didnt slow him down. Id say im mostly set mining here and folding when he bets out. I may call 1 street just to see what he does ott but not very much since villains stats seem solid. I may instead through out a donk bet of like 15$ on the flop as well and fold to rr but not very often. Overall just go for set value and fold on the turn asap.

Lol @ Harrington if he actually believes that. He is like a hundred million big blinds away from the correct answer.
