Hehe, I laughed at this. Anyway, I'd fold it pre. AQo for that much isn't exactly a great idea, regardless of circumstance.

why should I? He seems like he likes to 3b and he's reisolating fish so his range is super wide. Is expecting his 3b range to be something like ATs+ 99+ KQs+ unrealistic?

No, but I'm still not sure I like the flatting.

Flatting pre is fine. You're doing ok vs the reg's range, and you've got huge implied odds vs the fish. Being OOP sucks but it doesn't matter too much when there's a 50/32 in the pot and you've got AQ.

You win the pot a lot of the time and force the other players to fold their equity vs you. Taking down a $10.50 pot in this way isn't exactly terrible. Your value in the hand is coming from the whale though so that's why I prefer a call.

You realise that you are behind this range? You did not mention what you assume for his big offsuit ace hands, but if we assume AQo+, then we are 41% vs this range. In addition we are OOP, have the aggro-donk still to act (who might spazz over pre), we are not guaranteed to be in the pot with the fish (like here), we will miss the flop most of the time & are often dominated when we hit (like probably in this hand) and have hardly any chance to make a nutted hand. IMO fold > cold 4b > call

Nope, quite the opposite. I do wind some people up though, and I'll pick on new posters, but it's all in the name of fun. Nothing serious, and nothing irrational.

Regarding my post above; I was making a serious point. I wasn't criticising your play (in case it upset you.) I think raising pre is better than calling, which is the worst option of your three choices.
