Anyone with Zach Johnson today not pleased

Yeah no kidding. Isn't he something like a 2-time defending champion down in Texas?

I'm surprised you didn't glean everything out of the Rotoworld article, considering 99% of your picks are based on Ned's! This is the first year on a new course (which apparently Johnson was quite upset about... coincidence?)

gotta pay attention yo. It's a new course, totally different than the last one.

Internet restrictions were stepped up at work recently. If I even remember to update my picks by Wednesday evening, it's a good week. Just don't have the time to do my own research like I used to.

What was the window on changing players for round 3 this week, a few hours?
BS imo.

I think they kept the original deadline of 5:00am EST today. Yes, you had to make them even though round two hadn't even started.

Looks like we'll be in the same boat with round four picks. Round 3 won't even be started tonight by the time we have to make them.

No, they changed it, but apparently in a very silly way.

I went to bed at about 3am EST last night and at that point they were still allowing you to make changes to your SECOND round roster until 8:05am EST iirc. I know it was 2nd round still because I signed on specifically to change for Rd 3 and was pleasantly surprised that Yahoo! was being logical and adjusting their deadlines due to the fact that round 2 was cancelled. I decided to leave my team unchanged.

Then I wake up about an hour ago and they're already on to round 4 changes, meaning I completely missed any opportunity to make round 3 adjustments by sleeping for 9ish hours, despite the fact that the Rd 2 deadline wasn't until 5 hours after I went to bed.

At least that's how I think it happened, I was drunk LDO.

Yahoo isn't exactly logical when it comes to this stuff

I can't really complain since I have Els and Levin in my lineup and had 44 in Round 1

Ah, finally got some run-good. Started Scott, Jacobson and Els the entire way through. Should win my week (or come close to it) after having both my C golfers miss the cut.

Props to my g/f, who is 819th in all of Yahoo for the full season (3090 points) and was 7th in our 530 player group this week (187 points)

Props to myself, this is my 3rd season of Yahoo Fantasy Golf and I just picked up my 1st Weekly Leaderboard win (public group) with 156 points, bizarrely was one of the few with Brian Gay, who backdoored 2nd place + a 20pt round

**** you, Phil. Every damn big tournament that comes along where I don't go with him (like a Major) and go with say, Tiger/Stricker or some other combo which is pretty much the same thing, Phil lights it up. And every time I start him he sucks ****ing balls.

Yeah, I had Phil too. But the worst thing I did was in my C group. I started Crane(68) with Levin(65) on the bench, so I switched them today and Levin shoots 69 and Crane goes low (64).

Yeah, that always sucks when you pick incorrectly after swapping. I generally like to stick with all four of my starters for Friday unless the difference is like 4 strokes or more.

Switching to a guy after a hot round 1 is a rookie mistake.

I'd probably agree, but I'd much rather switch from the guy who shot +4 on Thursday to the guy who shot E, than say -2 to -6.

it's so ****ing funny how my bench does better than my active 4 like 80% of the time in the first two rounds.

I would have had a decent day if KJ Choi had not made an 8 on 18. A par and he shoots 62.

If this makes you feel better, he went from a 20 point round (-8, which would have been solo best round of the day) to a 14 point round (-4, which ended up 3 shots behind the new best round of the day). You lost 6 points from KJ but gained 2 points from each of your 3 other guys, who were now 1 shot closer to the days best score. Your actual points were the same, although anyone who didn't have KJ Choi gained 2 pts with each of THEIR guys. I had him too and was irked at his 18th hole comedy until I realized this

Jeff Overton FTW today

Wow. I had no idea. Crazy scoring system. Those four shots would have put KJ in contention to win the tournament though.

I've got Haas and Crane today that have a chance to win.
