40-46-86 at Stonegate GC in Twin Lake, MI 68.5/118. 1 birdie, 3 double bogeys.

Putting so bad. I just don't get it. I putted decently last year and this season I just can't figure it out.

45-45-90 -

1 birdie, 4 pars, 9 bogeys, 2 doubles, 2 triples

All around bad, but it didn't seem as bad as the score indicated. Lots of lateral hazard shots today.

Highlight was me putting on the rain gear to hit out of a hazard. Cell phone video was rolling in case of an lol but I was able to advance it to the greenside bunker from 90y out.

Siena in Vegas. Impossible conditions today...the wind was insane.

And that's only because I played the last 6 holes at 1 over.

4 triples and 2 doubles.

The big number holes were where we had HUGE crosswinds.

I think we had two holes that were downwind the whole round. Crazy. But I finally started being able to hit the ball some and finished nicely, at least.

Wind is tough.

38-45-83. No birdies, 2 doubles, 1 triple.

Some very good shots, which was nice. Starting to figure a few things out. Still lots of mediocre ones. Chipping and pitching awful, putting pretty bad.

Terrible just ****ing terrible. The only remotely good thing was lipping out an ace but even that sucked because it spun back 6 feet and missed the putt

Was actually hooking the ball off the tee which is weird. I had no business shooting what I did but I grinded pretty hard.

Ball striking much improved. Only hit one really awful shot. That plus a 3 putt cost a double, two bad bounces cost the other. Putting felt much better and I actually made a couple. Chipping was so-so but I didn't have to do much.

35 - 41 = 76 today

finally playing decent golf and making some putts. just need to lose the occasional bad tee shot that leads to a double. today was around 50-55° and windy so hopefully it'll come together when the weather improves

2 birdies, 7 pars, 8 bogeys, 1 double

Played OK. I was +4 on the par 5's which is lol bad. 3-putt bogeyed two of them and doubled the 18th. The double was a bladed 8 iron layup which left me a bad # of 75y. Caught the 58* a touch chunky and put it in the water.

I am really liking the Epic Subzero 3 wood. I hit the ball way straighter at about 245-250y. Much better than the driver that goes 280-290 and can be left, center or right off the tee.

Was a tale of 2 9's today. Played the back first then the front. Was playing with a couple and their adult kid and the course they were trying to play was full with a league so they went to Sleepy Hollow and well they were nice but they were in over their head. Luckily convinced the Older guy to play the front tees with his wife a few holes in. I didn't know it is possible to shoot like 100 for 9 and have either an 8 or 9 putt, I stopped counting. Second 9 joined another single and flew through golfing so good.

First 9 shot 45 with 21 putts, a 3 putt from 4 feet and a 4 putt that I don't think was possible to get to the hole and stay on the green with out hitting the hole.

Ball striking mostly awful. Chipping mostly bad. Putting wildly variable. Cups were not kind.

21-16 = 37 pts stableford on first day of our Captain's weekend. Computer indicating I was going to be 2 better than CSS, so hoping for a 0.6 cut in the morning.

I was really close to a really good round. The triple was a hitting 3 on the tee. The double was a lateral hazard and a bad 4 foot bogey putt.

37-42-79. 1 birdie, 1 double bogey.

Getting closer. Ball striking was improved today, though I did have one or two really bad misses. Chipping was a mixed bag, as was putting. Birdie was of the 2 putt variety on a short (485y) par 5 playing downwind.

110 degrees and I had had about 4 hours sleep after shipping a poker tournament the night before...

oops, I meant 44-44-88. obviously...

A very frustrating evening featuring a screwup on virtually every hole, mostly of the missed short putt variety. Four lip outs. There is a secret to putting on slow, bumpy, inconsistent poa greens but I don't know what it is.

Just close your eyes while putting on poa

Hit the ball like **** which is no surprise since I didn't hit a ball the last 5 days.

For how many great scores you post I don't know how I'm within a shot of you in handicaps.

Easy courses. Today was played at a course 69.5/118 and my home course 69.8/116 from the tips

1 or 2 off my really low scores were also played alone so those are marked as practice rounds

Played from the middle tees(69/113) since it was super wet. Had the course totally to myself and was basically playing lawn darts with wedges. Even short shots and shots around the green basically stopped where they landed, no need to worry about spinning too much or 2 little so pick a number and fire. Choked away my chance at my second sub 70 round ever. Was -3 after 17 and blocked one into the river, drop and punch out followed by no up and down and double my way to a 71. Holed out from just under 50 yards on a par 5 for eagle as well.

I really can't express how easy the course was playing though so not going to get too worked up about this round. Best part was I played 18 in 1 hour and 20 minutes with cart path only. Second best part was when I finished the pro said golf now had cancelled and refunded all the hot deals because someone else had asked them too since the course was so wet so the pro just said you probably played for free as well.
