I had a pretty great experience today! So I've been a golfer for a long time, but I did kinda quit the game for no good reason about 2 years ago. Then I had this strange little incident where I ended up having a seizure and almost dying from a brain bleed and serious brain surgery that led to a coma and a 5 month hospital/rehab stay. If you want to read more about it and see pics and descriptions of rehab you can check it out here:

So my life is quite a bit different after coming out of the hospital, and for some reason I've gotten super addicted to golf. I was okay at the game in the past. Like I sucked to start out but I played a ton (almost every day) and managed to shoot a 77 once, by far my best score. Well this hospitalization didn't help at first. In my prime I was capable of a drive of 275 yards, not a great number but pretty good for an amateur. But I was stuck in a wheelchair for like 4 months so when I got back into golf my driving distance dropped down to 205 yards at the best. Anyway, I've been practicing a lot because I love the escape to golf. At first I couldn't even play a round by myself because my therapists called me a "fall risk on uneven terrain" so I had to have my mom or dad caddy for me. But I've gotten better at that and I can walk fine and my game is getting kinda back to normal, at least not terribly bad.
So today my aunt and uncle are members at a local country club and they took me for a round. Last time I shot 101 a few weeks ago, and my goal this time was to break 100. Then strangely I somehow managed to pull a 2 over par 37 on the front nine!!! Not even a lie, I feel like I need my relatives to post some proof here lol. Like I was in a coma and my surgeon told my parents I might never wake up from the coma, and even if I do I might never walk or talk again, and now I'm playing decent golf, yayy...
Four pars and two birdies on the front 9!
My back nine went downhill, but let's just say my goal was to break 100 and I ended up breaking 90, so it was pretty awesome! ty ty ty.
Before I pretty much lost all my muscles and can't even do pull ups or setups like I once could, so I've been swinging this trainer thing like at least 100 times every day, and it's helping get my distance back slowly.
Big fan of this forum, I read everything here, ty very much guys.
