46-46-92. Going through a horrible stretch. Hit some decent drives and did mange to make a fifteen footer for a birdie but otherwise sucked. Irons are just killing me, I must have come up short in the front right bunker 12 times today.

Putter was a bit weak. Ball wasn't traveling through the air that great either, as it was a bit misty here today, so had longer than usual approach shots.

Shot my best ever 76 at troon north in scottsdale! Even sicker was that was with a 7 on a par 3 where I yanked my first tee shot into desert, then lost concentration with a provisional that I ended up having to play, hit into a bunker and had my only 3 putt of the round. So 17 holes of par golf (my previous best round is 77 at an easy course). With ESC its a diff of 2.0. Also set my best 9 holes with a 1 under front, where I lipped out a par putt on hole 1 for a bogey, then had two birdies and six pars. Somewhere in there I holed a 70 foot putt, that was fun!

yeah we moved here from san diego in january, I still have my place in la jolla actually, we are renting it out. I've been hovering around a 10 hdcp for like a year, hoping I am on the right track to getting it lower, my last few rounds would make me think so. Been taking golf lessons out here since I moved which is starting to pay off.

30 putts, 2 GIR (about 6 if you included the fringes), 3/12 fairways

Hadn't played in about a week and a half. Rolled a few putts on a sandy but quick practice green, but didn't hit any balls. Get up to the first tee, slice one into the water, top a second, and finally put it decently into play after two mulligans. Second shot is 140 out from the rough, land it on the green, two-putt par. For the next six holes I played one of the best stretches of golf I've had. Drives weren't always great, but the course is mostly wide-open so that wasn't a problem. And it might've been the best round I've had with my irons, at least on the front nine. After 7 holes I was +2 (although it's more like +3 because the one par-5 is really, really short). And that included a 28-foot and 10-foot par saves that I left an inch short. Then I hit a bad drive on #8, laid up with my second, and hit the third into a bunker. Ended up with a triple. Then a 3-putt from the fringe about 15 feet from the hole on #9. Still a really good front nine though, 3 shots better than my previous best for the front nine at that course.

Back nine started off with a quad. FML. Then I lost my tee shot staring right into the sun on a par-3. Hit a provisional, couldn't find my first shot, and made a triple. As I was walking over to the next tee I found my ball. Probably would've been able to pitch it on and two-putt for bogey. Played decently the rest of the way, but would've liked to have been about four or five shots better on the back. All in all, a great round aside from the end of the front and the start of the back. I was +11 on holes 8-11 and +8 on the other 14. Go figure.

38 on a Par34 9-hole course. 3/6 fairways, 3 greens hit, one sand shot. 14 putts so all-around ok.

This is going to be a great year, my goal for 2012 was to shoot 82 on the primary Par73 course on my club and 39 on the secondary 9-hole one so one of the goals need to be upgraded a bit. First week of the season.

46-38 (blues and then whites). probably would have broken 80 (for the first time) from the whites all 18

blues = some problems getting ball in play and alot of chips/pitches

whites = wide open driving areas and tons of GIR

help, i have the pitching/chipping yips

gotta work on those yips and relying more on 3w, 5w, 2 hybrid

47 (par 35). Game continues to be AIDSSSSSS. One good drive, one good iron. Need range time bad.

Hadn't checked this thread out in a while and I saw you were last to post and I told myself "I bet he shot an 87" b/c it seems like you always shoot 87-88. 94s for you are extreme outliers.

think I just shot my best round to date 38 (par34)- 38 (par34) and it's pretty horrible conditions, On 17 I aimed my 2nd shot way right of the green because of the wind, The wind still managed to get hold of it and flew it into a line of bushes on the left hand side, So about a 100 yard swing from right to left lol made my 1 only double of the round.

I need to keep working on my short game

just bogied 9 holes out of 9.

my clubs arrive tomorrow, of course so does the rain. hopefully they will help make my short game shorter.

Just played nine holes and shot a 43 (Par 35) from the Blues. Made a sick birdie on a Par 4 by sinking like a 30 foot put. Most of the par 4's I hit the green in 2 shots..need to brush up my short game. Great day out =)

43-45-88. God ****ing dammit. Back to not being able to do anything right. 88 from the white tees just plain sucks.

Optimism reigned after shooting 82 last Sunday and 38 on Tuesday. And then this crap.

Typical hole: #9 is a short, reachable par 5. Super narrow off the tee. I push my tee shot and it gets knocked down into jail 70 yards off the tee. Chip out sideways, flush a 3 hybrid that hops straight right into the rough, banana-cut a 6 iron from 135 around the trees and onto the green. 30 foot putt tracks perfectly, hits the center of the cup and somehow manages to not ****ing drop. 270 degree lipout. Another standard bogey.

Been out a lot while the forums was down.

40-46 for 86 total.

I was +10 after 15 holes. 11-12-13 all 3 putts, lol. Usually I put ok, and I had like 5 up on downs on the front.

Anyway I need to learn how to use my driver, any good videos on driving. Some days I have 225 meters straight drives, other days it all over the map, I think some of the problem is I dont know what Im doing.

^^^ just my imo and without seeing any video's of your swing...I think when your going all over the map just slow down and make smoother swings rather than trying to hit it.

been playing a ton lately had a really good round and scores on average are coming down. The good round was 71 3 over. Was 5 over through front 9 then it was like everything clicked. birdied 10 and 11 par 12 13 14 bogey 15 and 16 birdied 17 and 18. Total 32 back 9 -2 under.

Was such a good round.

42 on par 36 at my local 9 hole course. Links style course. Windy with fescue/tall grass

Started off with a double on 1 (always a slow starter) Drive left, topped 2nd, 3rd left, 4th on and 2 putts.

Rip a drive dead center to 100 out on #2. Proceed to blade a 3/4 PW into the hazard... pitch on and 2 putt for another 6.

Played pretty damn well from there on out. Was really solid off the tee. Iron play will come around. Didn't capitalize on a couple good birdie looks unfortunately.

45-44-89. Scorched the edges of every cup on the front nine and just plain sucked on the back. Drove the ball decent, should have been able to score better than this.

Not sure I got up and down once all weekend. Awful.

just shot 79 and now im down to a 9 handicap . 2nd time this year I broke 80 other one was a 77 think its going to be a good year and it is only may.
