Holy ****. Its supposed to be between 70-80 degrees all week, thats ****ing absurd. Gonna have to hit the course a couple times after work.

37-38-75. Par 72, 6650 yards, 71.4 rating, 140 slope. In West Palm Beach, Nicklaus course. This course usually eats me for lunch. There's tons of water and it is always blowing super hard. Greens have a lot of undulation and some odd approach angles.

Hit it so damn well today. Kept sticking wedges inside of 10 feet, burned the edge of about 7 birdie putts and still made 3. Made a double from 260 out on a completely innocuous par 5 on the front, and hit a 3 iron OB on the 16th hole (OB left, water right, jelly legged it).

Best I've hit my short irons in many years, could have been a 68 the way I hit it. Very excited even though the score is nothing too special.

My short game deserted me I couldn't make a putt to save my life long game was shaky and I hit four total flubs. The one bright spot was getting out of the four bunkers I hit at the first attempt each time.

41 with 20 putts....getting my belly putter extended and have to wait for the grip I want so played a conventional putter today and it was very, very, very ugly. And I wasn't hitting it to like 60 feet every hole either. I missed about a 5 footer for birdie on the 3rd hole and after that it was a disaster.

Been going to the driving range a lot lately since weather is breaking , hitting like 100-200 balls in session. Feeling good can't wait to get on a course.

45 (par 35). 80 ****ing degrees in March in Michigan. So sweet. Planning to play this weekend too.

Played a scramble today for my first time out. 5$ a hole and 10$ a side. We won a crazy amount of 15$ But I am happy, Im back hitting 280 to 300 yard drives and for the first time ever I put some back spin on the ball, it hit the green and zoom about 30 feet it came back and yet I have no clue how I did it lol Just good to get out but still need about a month cause the fairways were so bad we were aiming for the rough.

Another frustrating round of poor ball striking and shaky putting. I had a lesson after wards in which I was told again that I'm aligning my self way left of target very frustrating to hear but It was nice to see the ball travelling longer and straighter with out any more effort once i was standing parallel to the target line.

Long (for me) 7,000 yard course, not helped by the winter greens and the previous nights' storm making it even longer and wetter and cooler. Still, first time picking the clubs up in 7 months and my short game was the best I've ever had it today. Now if only I could add some strength and fix my slice off the tee...

45 (par 37). Swing felt better finally. First 18 tomorrow!

Shot a 93 on Pebble Beach (E6 Golf Simulator).

Was +13 on the 18th, manage to play 13 shots on the final hole. =(
It was WH all the way left and OB all the way right, so it was pretty slim and tough.


1st game of the year

42-42-84. Game is coming back. I didn't make any birdies (had two lip out) but had at least five birdie putts inside ten feet. Drove the ball well, irons were OK, sand game was unusually competent. Rest of the short game needs work.

It was an absolutely perfect day, 75 and sunny. LOL March in Michigan.

Shot 38/42 = 80 today and it's only my second round of the season. Ball striking was very nice on the front nine, putting was suspect on greens that were quicker than expected.

75 at Rum River Hills in MN. Absolutely murdered the ball off the tee but putted horribly. Had an OB after miss-clubbing myself, and hit my tee ball in the water on 7. Wind was a consistent 20mph all day, Not too shabby for being this early in the year here in MN. (Can't believe we are already playing!!!!)

I played on a simulator ahah. I wish I'd be living in USA for sports, there's nothing here except hockey and i hate/am bad/cant play that sport.

I feel there's so much more potential in about every aspect of life when living in USA compared to the rest of the world.

Hit the range again today lol...good news though the one closer to me finally opened for business, cuts down on driving time =) Awesome weather here.

Said at the start of the year that my goal for the year was to break 80 every round I played.

Well I had a test today +3 after 14 was looking ok, then went bogey, quadruple to go to +8. Parred 17, then on the par 5 18th hit a good drive onto a slight upslope, with 230+ to the green into a decent wind, hit driver off the deck into a greenside bunker and almost holed it to leave a tap in birdie, don't think I've ever been so happy to shoot 79!

How do people play a shot where your 8 to 10 feet below the hole and about 15 feet away ? I eithr flop straight up in the air and come up short, or go way past it. Guess I should practice it.
