51-45 at indian creek today. 35 putts and 25+ mph winds, fun fun...had my first birdie of the year and 3-4 other decent looks.

43 at waterchase thursday, 3 pars 1 dbl. dfw people stay away from that place. greens are the WOAT right now

46-46-92. Far too pissed off to keep any peripheral stats, they would have sucked anyway. Didn't do a damn thing right.

I played on Saturday, free 18 holes of golf at an out of town course.

I always start off bad and then start figuring out what I'm doing after a couple holes. The greens were small, but they were the some of the flattest greens in the country, imo. You know the greens are easy when I consider my putting the best part of my round. I hit a 20ft putt on one hole and even my friend was impressed.

Hole 8/17 is a Par 3 and is over top a big valley/pond. It's a cool looking hole until you get on the green. If you hit it on the green it would roll back off the green and start going down the hill. If you hit it past the green it was almost a guaranteed bad day because you'd have to hit it back down the hill, which would make it roll forever. I got lucky and got bogies each time. I think my friend got a 5 and 7.

I ended up figuring out my driver and was crushing it pretty well, but the course was pretty wet I had a lot of shots where I would go to hit the ball and the ground would just explode and it would be a ****ty shot that would frustrate me. One time I duffed it pretty bad, next shot I tried punching it, hit a tree, bounced right back to me, I picked it up and threw it as far as I could onto the fairway.

Anyways, hit a 51-49-100. I think I could have done a lot better. My mid range chipping is the hardest place for me because I don't have anything other than a PW so I tend to screw it up because I can't give it a full swing.

Didn't touch a club for 2 weeks and went out this weekend at my club.

Played 36 this weekend and managed to play the eight Par 3's at my course in a cumulative -5 including birdieing all both par 3's on the back 9 both days.

Yardages are 160, 195, 125, and 170 on the holes.

Shot 73 both days with 2 lost balls and 2 other double bogeys and a 3-putt.

Early in round. Par 5. Perfect drive, perfect 5 wood. 20 feet. 3 putt par. Proceed to shoot worst round of the year.

Geez. How'd you get an 11? Lots of pars and some birdies the rest of your round since you were 11 over in 3 holes? Great round besides that.

Missed a 35 foot putt for birdie on a par 4 by about 8 inches.

Drove better, eliminating my slices (except on one hole where it went oob and I took a 2 stroke penalty). Long irons were all struck really well. Short game was bad. Inconsistent lob wedge (the closer to the green the worse I am with it) and AIDS putting.

Left so many strokes out there, even for me. Did hit an awesome punch out from under a tree with my 2i. If I pulled it just a bit it reflects off the tree and I'm owned.

546 yard par 5 I played well. Dead straight drive about 265 just left of the fairway, then a 215 yard 2iron straight toward the green leaving me a short lob wedge shot to the green which I got to in regulation (but short). Missed another 35-foot birdie putt this time about 4' past/below the hole then missed the damn par putt. Sickening.

55-58-113

Front nine: ball-striking was pretty good, putting was terrible. 4 3-putts. On one of the par 3s I hit the fringe just past pin-high and had about 25 feet for birdie. Left it 8 feet short but managed to hit that for par. On the other par 3 I hit a really nice approach and had a downhill 17-footer with a ton of break for birdie. Didn't read enough break and it ran 3 feet past. Push the par putt right, barely make a 2-footer coming back. FML. Short par-4, choke down on a LW approach and leave it just short of the green. Run a 30-foot putt 5 feet past, miss the par putt. My excuse is that it rained yesterday so the greens must have been slower than they had been the past few weeks.

Back nine: putting was okay, ball-striking not so good, and made too many short game mistakes.

I played 18 yesterday on my bad back. Walking, no less. Don't even want to post the results here

I need to give it a rest for a week or so I think.

Scores so far:

1 1/2 months ago (after 1 month practicing in driving range): shot 159 from kiddies tees at chester washington. DNC some holes.

~ 1 month ago: A few times i shoot and score so bad i cant complete holes (probably would have shot over 200 if i was following all the rules).

1 week ago: shot 158 at Long Beach Rec center from whites

Today: shot 144 at Long Beach Rec center from whites.

I may be the least talented golfer on earth, but I am slowly improving. Still have a long ways to go before I even get a handicap.

Played the Conservatory course at hammock dunes. Palm Coast,FL They held a PGA event last year.(ginn champ.) Course was in excellent shape. Played from the golds and shot my best 9 ever...43! Then proceeded to go hay wire on the back...51,
Still considering how long the course is...(7300), i was happy. I'm no pro, so i was delighted to break 95.

First time playing my new burner superfast woods and actually hit em all straight...

I had a 260 carry over water on the line I was taking and it was a dogleg right over the lake. So as I'm lined up my opponent/buddy says swing hard. I say I will in the middle of my takeaway and hit it off the heel and duck hook it in the lake. We were playing a two man best ball so I just retee for fun hit one off line and don't carry the 290ish I would of needed so now my buddy is in my head and I hit one in the rough just past the lake. Proceed to hit a 6 iron left of the green. Now my give-o-crap meter is at zero so I hit a flop over a tree and one bounce it on the far fringe into the lake. I chip it on and 2 putt. And that's how beers/trash talk can lead to an 11. Then I birdie the par 5 9th for the win and 25 bucks hahaha weird round

Wtf. 260 carry off the tee or else you're in the water? What kind of course is this lol.

On the line I normally take if you go straight its only 240 ish but you have 200+ into the green so you have to cut the corner a bit

Ive had like 11 lessons, 7 from your instructor. They help a lot, I just really suck at golf lol

my friend said if i ever reached scratch it would be inspiriational and mean that literally anyone can do it.

played biltmore here in phoenix, probably easiest course in the state....none the less shot 35-33 for a 2 under par 68 which included a stupid double on a par 5 where I managed to put one in the water and then OB on the next shot. Got fired up and ripped off 4 birdies in the next 7 holes to finish 2 down on the side and the round.

was very pleased considering I got down a 12 pack out there as well.... drunk golf FTW

42 (par 37). Pretty standard round, just pars and bogeys.

Nothing like playing the white tees at my home course when you're playing ****ty. Shot 38 today without my bent-ass 8-iron which was nice. 3/7 fairways, 4/9 greens, 14 putts. Left myself in fairly good positions on the greens I didn't hit other than being in one bunker so that was really encouraging.

I shot a million today.

Me too. Worked some of it out on the range, I think. That is, I hope.
