54+57=111.

No pars. Lots of triple bogeys.

10th hole, I tee'd off, setted up for a draw, but somehow my neck started to kill after the shot. It hurted the rest of the round and still hurts today.

14th hole, there was a major log jam (par 3 followed by short par 4), the group behind us caught up with my group. As they stood to the right, I somehow shanked my tee shot nearly hitting them.

Brag: Yesterday I finally beat my high school golf coach on 18 holes (I am going to be a senior in college)! He shot a 1 over par 73 and I beat him by 4 shots

Beat: There were none

Variance: I 3-putted a par 5 on the front nine from 30 feet after I hit the green in 2!

I'm curious about this too.

shot an 84 yesterday, after the frustrating 103 i shot the day before. short game was much better yesterday (obv.).

Played Eagle Ridge in Raleigh, NC today in 2 hrs and 30 min after work and shot an 84...best round of the year...maybe from now on Ill just not hit on the range b4 playing?!?!

...with a 380 yard drive on a 490 yard par 5...

Brag: shot 37 on the back 9 of my first round in almost 2 years.

Beat: 54 on the front 9.

I feel your pain...

The last few rounds me and my normal playing partner have been going "absolutely" no mulligans. It made my good rounds feel like cheap junk, cause I knew in my head that I had like 3 mulli's that probably took off 5-7 shots overall.

So since then my attitude has changed and it helps me maintain my composure better. Today I shot a 100 at a local course, not bad for me since I am doing it the right way now.

HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY:

122 yards to the green, number 14 par 3. I use an 8 iron off the ground, hit a nice shot straight, one bounce at the front of the green, a couple little hops, a small curve right, and BAM hole in one!!

Me and my friend were very excited, then he kinda rushed his shot and ended up with a 7 (lol) after my one. But brag for me, first hole in one, and only spent $30 in the bar buying drinks for the guys sitting in there.

Yes, eagles. Both 2nd shots on par 4s.

<===== changed location. Goal for this year was to break 80. I now have a 79 and a 77 this summer. 75 is the new goal now.

43 (net 34) in my golf league match, 1 shot under my league handicap. However, I lost my match by 1 hole as my opponent shot a 41 (net 32). 2 really sloppy double bogeys, 4 bogeys, and 3 pars. Putted very well...except for missing a 7 footer on the last hole that could have halved my match.

72 today from the tips. 2 birdies 3 bogeys and a whole lot of up and downs. 26 putts helped.

93, I think. I suck.

94 - tie for my best round ever.

I was +11 on 4 holes and +11 on the other 14.

played in our sunday scramble today and won with a 4 man team score of 29. i drove a 350 yard par 4 and made the 30 footer for a natural eagle.

Last time played this course I sucked so bad I wouldnt mention my score...

1st 3 holes are long Par 5 Long Par 4 and Long Par 5 score 8 8 8 then...consistency set in and I was shooting well (for me) on the back...

Brag: I shot a 41 on the back 9 using only a 6 iron (no putter either), could have been quite a bit better, 3 putted 3 or 4 times.

Beat/Variance: Shot 40 on the front 9 using all clubs.

98 at Fairfax National on Saturday; 50 on the Wilderness 9, then 48 on the Bull Run 9.

I am pulling everything lately. I have always had some draw on the ball on many of my shots, but now even the shots that go straight are just dead pulls to the left. Anyone got any ideas?

48-44 at Deer Ridge in Brentwood (Northern California, by Antioch). Interesting course, as it's pretty short...the tips are 63xx, par 71, I played the blues @ 58xx, but the slope from those tees is in the 130s.

46-47 - 93 Island course at the Kingwood Country Club

Still having issues with my driver and I tend to lose it on the middle holes. My short game has saved me greatly lately as I have been knocking it to within 5 feet often when inside of 50 yards. Several one putts saved the day as well.

Beat: went over the handle bars of my mountain bike a couple of weeks ago and really hurt my ribs. So I had not played in 2 weeks. Took a few practice swings and felt fine so I agreed to go out Saturday. First tee box got to the top of my backswing, went to uncoil and it felt like I was punched in the side.

So the rest of the day I took the softest swing I could. Knocked 2-3 clubs off of every distance. Was able to put together a 98. Parred all four par threes. Had all kinds of problems on the longer holes. Missed some putts I usually make.

Guess I'll be taking off a few more weeks. This is just driving me nuts. Missing a month of golf is not fun.

I'm 99% sure there is something seriously wrong with my right shoulder, but I've been putting off getting it looked at because, well, I'm an idiot.

83 on Saturday. Also played in a scramble which was torture - nearly six hours.

The snap hook is back with a vengance and the putter is still shaky. I'm going to have to ebay a new putter or two, just to see if I can find something that'll let me make three footers.
