Haven't purchased anything this season, but if a regrip doesn't fix things I may be looking for a new driver. Also would like to pick up a rangefinder but just not interested in paying $300. Guess I should have picked up an extra Tour V3 w/ Jolt last year when Amazon had 'em for $140 or whatever.

I have two Sun Mountain stand bags, a H2No waterproof for winter play and a 3.5 for summer...love them both but the H2No is phenominal. i just use the rain hood, wear good rain gear, and don't even carry an umbrella anymore
Sun Mountain has a ton of options and probably has the right weight to accessory ratio for you.

Not today but I just got a Aeroburner 3 wood. It goes far, really far, now I have like a 35-40 yard gap from 3H to 3W

For any of you that haven't found this yet, there is a great buy, sell, trade group on facebook where you can find great stuff. I've bought and sold a few things on there and always a good experience. In the pinned post on the page they have a lot of people listed with grades from other's experiences so you can see if you should trust someone or not before making a deal.

I personally would not recommend trading anything on there because I have heard stories of people sending their item off and never getting anything in return. Always use PayPal goods & services to cover yourself in case someone goes MIA even if they ask you to use friends & family. I will always offer to pay the extra 4% or whatever it is that they get charged to use goods & services if necessary.

Check it out... Either search on FB for "Golf Club Traders" or here's a link

Are you guys familiar with the Facebook group where they will do drawings for clubs, headcovers, shoes, range finders etc and it's typically really nice ****?

Case in point you have a rare headcover that you value at $90 personally and you want to sell it. Well you can sell 10 spots to the drawing, entry fee 10 points (points means dollars). You get $100 for the headcover while the person who won it only invested $10. Then the seller has to use a program that records a live draw and upload it right away. Pretty cool.

What is the name of it? I see a lot of those for pool cues, but they only allow the admin to do raffles and not members. Does this one allow members to do it?

The ones I've seen they all use the powerball for their random draw. They sell 26 spots and then use the next powerball number to decide the winner. Or if they want to sell more spots they will use the 1st white ball on the powerball draw.

I think they were also super cheap on Amazons Prime day ( I think thats what it's called), which happened in July last year, so maybe holding out for that would be smart.

Regripped my driver and wedges. Went with a green and black golf pride since it vibes with my Ninja Turtles headcover. Wedges got the Phil treatment golf pride and 3 total wraps.

Early results on the hybrid are good for me. I have to make an effort to not swing hard because when I do I have a tendency to hut a hard pull with it.

Still haven't hit the 3-wood on the course yet. Just not comfortable with it quite yet.

Thanks for posting this. Tried it last night for the first time and binked a epic subzero for $90 and today hit a epic 3wood head for 43. I run pretty good

I don't get it, it is basically a lottery? i.e. your EV is no better than buying outright?

Yes. if it is a $100 item then they'll do 10 spots for $10 each. You get a 10% chance of winning it for every $10 you spend.

It is a raffle ticket.

Yeah its just a lottery drawing. THey run small sat's or steps into the main drawing most of the time. Seems like a great place to sell equip.

Got this guy and bought some aftermarket red weights to add 60 grams to the head plus a countercore grip with 50 gram weight in it. Played 9 holes yesterday and had 13 putts. 9 holes this morning and had 10 putts. This morning I holed a shot from 50y out but still those are unreal low numbers even if you added 2 putts for that hole. If I read the putt right I feel like I'm going to make every single putt. Never been more confident with the putter.

first time i got a superstroke grip i holed 7 "pollies" (putts longer than the flagstick) in a row. i dunno why new putters can be magical sometimes, but there's one thing i can guarantee: it won't last.

This is my fear as I have had the same results in the past. This time with the weights I feel much better tho because there's no denying how weight affects the stability of the stroke.

For anyone that is a tinkerer, I suggest picking up a couple of these lead weight kits that you get for pinewood derby cars. They come with a double sided tape and they break apart into 4 gram pieces (there's also some in big strips that you can cut to size that are thinner). Try adding about 30g to your putter head split evenly between front and back as well as heel/toe. Tinker around with adding more and less to see how it feels. If the head feels too heavy then add 25g or more to the top end of your grip as a counter balance. You may be surprised at the result.

What it does is allows you to have a slower, shorter, easier to control putting stroke and still hit the ball the same distance. A shorter, slower stroke is easier to control. You just have to get used to being slower. It has done wonders for my putting game. Most of us don't play on greens that roll at a 12+ like the pros do, so it's nice to not have to swing so hard to get the ball to go the same distance.
