Some sort of integrated tech that lets it double as a game golf/arcos type system.

Now THAT would be awesome. Something that logs your distances for you. Include buttons on the side for what club you hit. I think you have a patent in the waiting.

So these 9 dozen were refinished balls. Some last a while but most get a gouge or rash on them way too fast. I am probably through over half of the ones I bought. Will def go with recycled instead of refinished next time.

This, I did once and I can't really put my finger on exactly what was different but they just did weird things that seemed out of place and just was never comfortable with them.

If you're a good player (low handicap 5~+3) you're loosing control using refinished balls.

I didn't buy them today, they arrived about a month ago. If you order 6 dozen from the site you gettem for around $26 per box shipped. The company was founded by Dean Snell, the inventor of the ProV1. He also worked for Taylormade until recently and designed some of their balls. As far as I can tell, they perform similarly to the big companies' flagship balls. They also offer a two piece for around half the price.

Get some!

(That's coincidently the name of their other ball, haha.)

Lesson learned. Thought for $4.97 I would take a chance. The Tour Distance ones seem to hold for around 6 holes. The DTs are complete ****. When you pull them it feels like you are breaking an egg.

Oh well I have them now and will play the rest of them until they are scuffed or lost, which shouldn't take too long.

Haven't posted here, but lurk all the time. And I'm going to Bandon next weekend, so loading up a bit.

Purchases in last few days:
Cobra Fly-Z+ driver ($199 -local shop had it mis-priced and honored it immediately, even though I wasn't pushing at all)
FootJoy rain gloves
FootJoy DryJoys Tour
FJ ProJoys socks x4
Scorecard/yardage book holder
Black Widow Tour soft spikes (adjustable for firmness, which I'd never seen)

Any Bandon veterans have some must-buy advice? (Other than rain gear, obv.)

BTW, Dick's Sporting Goods has some pretty nice end-of-season deals, including 25% extra off clearance stuff.

never hurts to have a second pair of rain gloves when it's really wet. assuming when you mention rain gear you are also bringing an hat and umbrella?

as always, layering clothes is a good decision although i'll be surprised if the weather will dip into the 40s next week. bring a second pair of shoes if you're bringing the new ones just in case they take a while to break in. sucks to walk several days on sore feet.

Have you tried them? They seem a little bit "hard".

Thanks for the advice. I've heard that umbrellas down there can be more trouble than they're worth due to wind. But I'm driving down, so guess it won't hurt to throw one more thing in the car. Was planning on buying one of the highly regarded Bandon bucket rain hats.

Definitely taking at least two pairs of shoes. And will probably grab another pair of rain gloves and just return them if I end up not using on trip.

Fully expect for all this to break in a month buy for $39 was worth taking a chance on it.
Includes net, crappy mat, and swing/ball speed radar thing.

Got excited as I was looking for a counter-balanced putter. Then I see it was for fairway woods and hybrids only. It does say deal #1 so maybe there is more deals to come.

Yes, twice. Plus several of my buddies. Very happy with the quality and prices.

In fact, I completed my second order about a month ago. 8 dozen 2016 Bridgestone e6s shipped for under $100.

Nice choice as that's exactly what I'm ordering, although..

12 dozen e6's with the 20% off for $110 shipped.

Also just ordered 2 shirts, shorts, and a golf shirt for the wife from Global Golf.

I'm gonna blind somebody with this one:

Also added another shirt for the wife and a Stewie Griffin head cover with my credit from Rock Bottom.

Saw Dicks had a Nikon rangefinder for $149 today but didn't get up the enthusiasm to check it out. Assuming there will be other opportunities.
