Sunday was a different story...talking about how he didn't hit a single bad shot all round and all of a sudden he was 2 over? He pulled like 4 drives in a row left at one point, hit a water hazard, only had 6 fairways and 9 greens on the day. Safe to say he hit at least a few bad shots, thats for sure.
Tiger usually checks out of Sunday rounds that aren't Majors and he isn't even within the slightest of breathing distance of the leaders. Goes through the motions until he reaches the last couple of holes and then he has that mindset of always closing strong, which he usually does.
I did think his putting stroke looked more confident and he was rolling them more aggressively at the Players. Seemed to me not that long ago Woods was n't confident at going after putts and he'd almost be relieved with a 2 putt. The Players he was rolling the ball past the hole leaving 3 footers coming back. That's how he should be rolling it.
