Tiger spoiled us by hitting so maybe 160 yard shots to 12 feet. Seemed like he'd do it every time. Now it seems like he's just hitting 3w, 7i to 30 feet and ho-humming around par every round.

You sound like a guy who's actually watching Tiger compete and you can't help but notice that, say, he's hit a lot of greens without getting a lot of good looks. Or he's had iron in his hands on par-5s, and rather than a look at eagle/kick-in birdie, he escapes with par. Or maybe you've been watching Rory constantly getting good looks from 15 ft and thinking, "Man, it's gonna be hard to beat that guy when we're outside him every hole."
You are doing it wrong. Forget what you are seeing, it's deceiving. You have to crunch the numbers. If he made anything, he'd be crushing. You may be at a disadvantage if you don't have my commitment to logic, mathematical rigour, and Tiger Woods, but good luck!
