Should I adjust my R11???

I have been hitting my driver okay 270 with a fade to a slice type flight pattern. I have a tournament on monday at a course i have never played but from the fly-by on you tube it looks like i'd be better off if the ball was straighter or drawing. My driver is currently set on neutral and half a degree higher. Should I fiddle with it to try and make it straighter in the next week or should I just play my current shot shape and take a shorter club when the hole doesn't fit the shot.

A little background info, this will be my first tournament so i i don't know about how good i can trust a shot shape that's only a few days old under "pressure". I'm a 5 handicap that's been steadily improving up till now.

On a side note does anyone have any tips on how to play a course that i've never played before in a tournament setting? I am assuming I have to play on the safer side unless I can see what i'm hitting at. So hitting to the 150 marker alot for example. Also keeping my misses short of the green since i don't know what's behind.

thanks guys
Benny

To me trying to play a different shot shape with different driver settings in your first ever tournament where you will be under some type of pressure different from a normal round seems like a really really terrible idea.

If you really want to do your best spend you week until the tournament practicing 3 to 8 foot putts and just hit the shape you're comfortable with off the tee.
