Not sure if you've said this before stads, but how did you end up on 2p2?

Are you a poker player?

I am exempt into the US Open, but I would have to qualify. Unfortunately I am exempt into Local Final Qualifying as runner up at the US Am for the British, in the UK...which to me makes no sense given that there is International Final Qualifying and the exemption was earned in the US. So its not worth it to fly across the pond. Originally I thought I might be in the one in Texas, which I would have definitely made the trip for but it didn't work that way.

My friends and I were all like 14-16 during the poker boom on ESPN and a couple of us got into it. One of my best friends did really well from the get go and was playing HSNL and posting on here and he linked me to BBV and subsequently BBV4Life and I just enjoyed reading it for the laughs. I didn't find the golf forum really until after I stopped playing I think.

I would played infrequently, sometimes doing multitable grinding but usually put some money on FTP/Stars and try to run it up fast when I was bored. I guess I just didn't have the patience/desire to get better. It was like I didn't care about the money, the challenge was to see how high I could run up my account in a short period of time before either cashing out or usually going busto.

Very cool.

You should get good at poker -- I bet there are some AMAZING backroom poker games on TOUR.

Looks like he jarred it on a par four. Course must be crazy easy, but 65 is 65. Nice work.

thanks, we had a good round today. the eagle was a putt though, they had the tee up to about 305 and I hit my tee shot to about 4 feet. the guy leading was behind me and hit it to a foot.

Congrats on all your success...it's pretty cool to pick up Golfweek and read an article that's talking about how well your playing. Best of luck in the future..

How well do you know the Smith kid? You guys have much history. I looked it up and it seems like you two could have had some State playoff meeting and or the chance to meet occasionally. Were your High Schools in the same division? Keep doing work!!

4 teams from each of the 6 regionals advance. They play 54 holes of Medal play and there is a medal play champion. Then the top 8 play match play to determine the M
atch play champion
