god that was such bs. tiger hits it left and not a single person moved out of the way. that ball should be in the bushes.

actually when jack first came out ppl would jump in front of palmers ball to help him and would def get out of the way if jack hit a bad shot.

thats a fact. they also would loudly root against him called him fat boy and ohio fats.

the fact is if somebody hits a bad shot you should move so the ball finds its natural resting place.

did you see the par 3 a few mins ago? ball is coming right at them those ppl didnt move an inch. didnt duck. nothing.

that def artificially influences the ball

They probably lost the ball in the air, weren't paying attention, etc. No one is taking a golf ball in the chest for anyone when it might not even improve their lie at all.

The Tiger hate has really reached the level that you actually believe people are willing to get hit by a golf ball just to save his ball from going into the bushes? The natural reaction is to get out of the way, and not everyone out there is a Tiger fan anymore. I think you saw one shot on a small group of people and made a huge assumption.

It wasnt a Jack vs Arny thing...it was the way the crowds were. They packed the fairways so tight that people were getting hit all over the place at one point. If Im not mistaken, Jimmy Demaret sent two people to the hospital in one round...and both came off drives that would be in the first cut.
