I know it doesn't mean anything, but the higher seeds went 13-3 today.

Also, 6 out of the 7 remaining americans are on the Jones/Hogan side of the draw, so there's a pretty good chance of a US vs ROW final.

Won't be a total disaster for TV if that happens, still 3 of the 4 top seeds still in it. I mean, we're not talking a Kevin Sutherland vs. Scott McCarron final here.

Watney was a complete luckbox. Yeah, he's actually won on tour in the last couple years, but nothing like the Chevron World Championship Challenge Cup of Sherwood. Sometimes Tiger hits those putts too pure... Not to take anything from Watney.

I love Snedeker's putting routine. Always takes me surprise when he hits it so quickly, even tho I know he's going to do it.

When the mountains, grain, gravitational pull of Jupiter's moons, and the weight of a nation is on your shoulders, it's a lot to overcome. Tiger gave it his best, but he just couldn't catch the breaks you need to beat one person today.

If it wasn't for bad luck Tiger would have no luck at all imo.

I look at it this way, sure he waved at a 6 footer to extend the match-- but it wasn't for par. No way he makes bogey there. You know how he hates making bogey. He gets that look in his eye.

He definitely would have finished no worse than 3rd in a full field event though. This is obvious after extrapolating random shots today and feeding them into a statistical database which then calculates his average standing vs. a random tour player.

I can just see Ship raging right now, even though I know he agrees about the Chervon thing. That's what happens when you hitch yourself to the devil's wagon.

Say what you will about the toughest five par 5s in golf, greens rolling at 15, 40 MPH gusts, but you can't question the field or the will, 18 of the best of the best competing for 1.5 million and ranking points at the Sherwood Championship World Cup Chevron Challenge of Golf. That was a win for the ages.

The real question is, how much longer do we have to endure before it is properly recognized as the fifth major?

To appease the masses, TGC should air a replay of the final round instead of live Accenture coverage.

The problem is the putts just aren't falling. He putts decent (not good) and he beats Watney 4&3. Clearly, his left-handed game is ready for the GOAT to GOAT.

He should start carrying a left-handed club. It would have gotten more play this week than half his bag.
