They got to that by their Am score= -23, take out Tiger's -8, and all of a sudden bingo Romo shot -15. Can't miss math there.

its true the ams pick up a lot as to not slow down the pace of play. if they have no chance to better the team score on a hole they pick up.

so tony did play quite well but the scores are not 100%

was he right though? I would say yes. he hit the ball well all day. just couldn't puttt. he has putted this bad in his prime as well. just not as often.

-Bad bogey on 10;
-Birdied 12 from a GS bunker;
-Embarrassing bogey on 14;
-Missed 15 green with a 9 iron.

Also missed #8 and #9 greens.

Not to take anything away from Phold, but he didn't win so much as Tiger gave it away with unlucky putting. I blame the poa greens. Tiger's win at Chevron was so much better, practically a major, unbelievable winds, greens running at 16. Iced it with a gutty 10 foot twister on the 72nd hole. He just beat himself today. ; (

yeah, people trying to do simple math on romo's score are way off. i saw him take 2 ridiculous drops (way offside golf rules but it didn't matter cause they didn't play his score). and lots of amateurs don't finish hole. also when tiger pars a hole (most holes) you usually have idea whar romo'sscore was. i'd guess 10 to 20 over.he absoluely hammers theball. had phil by 70-80 yards on #2.tees way up but still..sorryfor ipad typing

saw mcmanus the sandbagger hit 7 shots today. one nice greenside bunker shot and 6, very poor, extremely poor and attrocious shots today. so people should lay off him. i infer that he hits his driver fairly straight. i saw all approachshots andgreenside sand. other thanthe oneshot everything else abysmal
