Awesome watching Phil get it done, deserves to win after playing this well. All over the guy has been written off after a lackluster first three tournaments. Guess he's not dead just yet.

Way to go out in style Tiger.

Was pretty likely that Wi was going to give this one away, and he could've completely collapsed after 1st hole meltdown, so I guess it's a moral victory if he can pull 2nd

I don't remember the stat, but one year Tiger didn't miss a putt inside 3 feet all year and only a hanful under 5 feet (no, not 2010). If that one on 18 was under 3 feet which it looked like it he missed 3 under 3 feet TODAY.

He was in third place entering the final round, and only four shots off the lead, behind two people who've never won. He also remained in contention through the first few holes until the three-straight-bogies meltdown, and ultimately finished T15. You're making it sound like he was 64th and never in the mix and they forced coverage of him regardless.

As sad as it is to say, Tiger's tv coverage is a huge reason why there's so much money in the game and the reason so many people can play professional golf.

the fact is nobody who hasnt won in 2.5 years deserves as much air time as him. esp not just standing around or recapping his round 5 times a day. and all the other crap they do.

The fact is, "deserve" has nothing to do with it. It's a business decision, plain and simple. And, given the Tiger-related boom in the business of golf, it's obvious that those making the business decisions are doing a much better job of it than you would.

I predicted just before his wedding that the dumb ho would eventually yoko ono his career and without his dad around to set his head straight, i doubt he'll ever be the same in the final round again.

The whole ****ing sport is a giant head game as it is, just imagine going from your wife/kids/mother/father waiting for you at 18 to....Notah Begay.

do you not think its sickening that they start every broadcast with a wheres tiger update when half the time he really isnt close? its always first thing you see.

take out the fact hes a walking piece of excrement (im not talking about cheating on his wife but the tons of other things hes done) his play doesnt earn it.

It's not my preference. Commercials aren't my preferences. Having to spend many hours practicing my short-game in order to get better at golf isn't my preference. Exercising to stay healthy isn't my preference. But I'm not a seven year old who complains about things I don't like, especially when I see the necessity behind them.
