Phil can't miss! Tiger needs to go back to the drawing board. 5 footers and distance control are a must for him to compete on Sundays.

Phil goating jesus christ what a round.

Tiger looking like a chump out there this is embarrassing I'm not going to lie.

I like to think that once Tiger gets it done on Sunday he'll get over these Sunday slump rounds, but that's obviously the Tiger fan inside of me talking. It's scary to see such a drop off in like three of his last four tournaments from his first three rounds to the last round.

So frustrating to watch.

It's more of a recent trend the past couple/few years. His scoring average is just over 70 when paired with Tiger.

Observations:
Tiger's wedge play has been pretty terrible all year. Although fairly standard for his short game to fall by the wayside while he is doing his swing changes.

Only if a player is named Tiger, could people look back at his 4 events and concluded that his career is over or that he sucks.

What happens if your amateur partner doesn't make the cut? You just play without him on Sunday? Wouldn't that be an advantage?

Depends.

Could be a big help since there's more of a chance to get a read for one of your putts with an extra person in your group.

I am curious though, do all amateurs play Sunday if their PGA player makes the cut on the professional side of the tournament?

Or do they have to make the cut on the pro-am side too?

Assuming it's the latter, but Kovner's question made me realize I don't know how this works.

This has to be the worst coverage of a sporting event. Guys are playing shots, and instead of showing us golf shots, they decide to show me the landscape, Amy Mickelson, Phil's caddy, Nick Faldo, Clint Eastwood, and as many things as they can besides showing golf! Jesus!
