Brandel Chamblee has to be the biggest idiot ever. Just watching a Tiger 2011 review/2012 preview on golf channel and Chamblee says he doesn't think Tiger will break Jack's record and even if he does win 19 or 20 majors it won't matter. Chamblee still wouldn't call him the best player of all time but he would maybe put him in the top 2 or 3 ever to play the game.

No Brandel, the most preposterous thing anyone has ever heard in sports is you saying that even if Tiger breaks Jack's major record he still wouldn't be the greatest golfer to ever play the game and he may not even be in the top 2. And amazingly enough the most egotistical thing anyone has ever heard in sports is you criticizing the decisions that the greatest player to ever play the game is making.

Is there even an argument here? The fields are significantly tougher even compared to 5-10 years ago, much less 30+.

I was half listening to Brandel and couldn't believe his 180 on Tiger and the stance he took regarding the majors. A few weeks ago he was saying how much better the swing looked..blah blah

And hasn't he said flat out in the past that Tiger is the greatest ever. He normally seems to hits things on the head, but these past few months have been wacky with him.

i thought he disliked the new Tiger swing changes, seem to remember him bitching about the head drop still being there and maybe some other nonsense on a Golf Central segment during the PGA...i normally don't mind him but that comment is pretty absurd, actually think that TGC and golf in general has the best talking heads out of the sports i watch (baseball, football, basketball)

I made this post at the end of August. The best part is that Tiger has gotten much much better since then and yet now Brandel thinks less of his game. The guy is a joke.

I started watching it and was about to turn it off and go to sleep. Right when he made the comments on Foley I immediately hit 'record' after picking my jaw off the ground and turned it off to watch today.

Mainstream media has sucked for a long time, now I guess golf media has to be edgy and controversial to remain relevant too. Why can't people just report and give their actual opinions and let their knowledge separate them. As much as I don't like Miller I will give him credit that he calls it as HE sees it....at least it's honest.
