I'm amped for the start of the season, seems like there's something missing from Saturday afternoons when there's no official PGA Tour leaderboard to scope out

I really think this is going to be a great year. Rory, Luke, Tiger, Webb, Kuch, DJ, Rose, Mahan, Fowler, Day, Scott, Phil, Bubba, Watney, Woodland....there is soooo much talent and game on Tour right now it is amazing.

I really do expect some great finishes and tournaments.

Scott Fawcett is rolling right now....+10 pounds in 2 months since Q School/learning of broken foot/holidays.

Pants are finally tight so I guess it is time to focus up a touch.

Are you guys watching TGC? The programming has been great for the past week or so, they're showing a bunch of replays (actual golf!). The 2008 US final round is on tonight. If this doesn't pump you up I don't know what will.

Bubba with a 58. I might be wrong but it seems to me he is usually hot early then like after May he kinda just runs in the middle of the pack.

I hope he competes and is in the final group every tournament he plays but loses The PGA needs him to be good

Brandel Chamblee has to be the biggest idiot ever. Just watching a Tiger 2011 review/2012 preview on golf channel and Chamblee says he doesn't think Tiger will break Jack's record and even if he does win 19 or 20 majors it won't matter. Chamblee still wouldn't call him the best player of all time but he would maybe put him in the top 2 or 3 ever to play the game.

No Brandel, the most preposterous thing anyone has ever heard in sports is you saying that even if Tiger breaks Jack's major record he still wouldn't be the greatest golfer to ever play the game and he may not even be in the top 2. And amazingly enough the most egotistical thing anyone has ever heard in sports is you criticizing the decisions that the greatest player to ever play the game is making.

If he breaks Jacks record he will be the greatest of all time. If he doesn't than the greatest of an era that failed with the skills to be the greatest. Though many would argue that Tiger competed when the fields were tougher

Is there even an argument here? The fields are significantly tougher even compared to 5-10 years ago, much less 30+.

I was half listening to Brandel and couldn't believe his 180 on Tiger and the stance he took regarding the majors. A few weeks ago he was saying how much better the swing looked..blah blah

And hasn't he said flat out in the past that Tiger is the greatest ever. He normally seems to hits things on the head, but these past few months have been wacky with him.

i thought he disliked the new Tiger swing changes, seem to remember him bitching about the head drop still being there and maybe some other nonsense on a Golf Central segment during the PGA...i normally don't mind him but that comment is pretty absurd, actually think that TGC and golf in general has the best talking heads out of the sports i watch (baseball, football, basketball)

Just ****ing wow. The sick thing is that Brandel is using Tiger to further his career. I wonder if golf channel had a meeting to decide who was going to play the tiger hater or if Brandel actually thinks this ****. Thought you might enjoy this vid.
